Photo thoughts--- This Fall I spent a great deal of time at our local state parks after the color had gone away in the mountains. I have come to both love and admire our state parks here in Colorado, beaming with wildlife and wonderful landscapes, during Fall they tend to lack people and give me different subject matter to photograph. When I happened upon this scene I knew right away I really wanted to get the path which lead down to the lake ...it added some nice leading lines to the composition and of course it's hard to go wrong with Autumn Cottonwood trees which are backlit from the sunlight of golden hour. As far as processing, slight HDR blending in the foreground to bring out the textures in the grass, contrast and light.
