This furious dwarf is defending the gates to the throne room. He couldn't wait to start battling and jumped over shields behind the first line of enemies. The dwarves block the first attack of their enemies with fire from the dragon forge.

Done in Photoshop CS3. I guess I like dwarves....

I made a few changes to the original image. I adjusted the lighting a bit as well as tried to make it a tad less dark. I also cleaned up some of the blending.

Here's another illustration I did for Mystic Warlords of Ka'a [link]. It's a bit different in the final card and I never really cared how that one turned out, so here's the version I prefer.
