An excuse to draw the Mane Six and Spike wearing mail armors in a tavern? Yes please!

I tried to make sure that the composition and color choices made the scene warm and inviting to the viewer. There's a place at the table just for the viewer, the colors for the mares and spike are brighter versions of their show colors to make the table bright and cheery. I used orange and brown as the main color of the scene to make everything warm. I hope it all works.

Remember the really bad fanart of "It's a Dangerous Business" [link] I said I made that I never uploaded here? No? well anyways it's been a year since I drew that so I decided to redo it with the skills I have acquired to see how far I've come. Since it's been a year I also decided to make a progress compilation of my art of my first year of drawing. That drawing will be making an appearance as the first and this will be the last. Come check it out if you want.

Okay, so I realize that I am incredibly late for Halloween (or 'nightmare night' or whatever) but I'm happy I was finally able to finish this.

So, after a long long time, a new drawing.

The title has been bit of a hassle. I've been told that it sounds quite pretentious, and to be honest I would tend to agree, but it was the only one I could find that could convey both the uniqueness of Twilight's achievement AND the fundamental delusion behind it.

At first I was rolling my eyes at these new side characters; I thought: why in the Styx does a kid's show need an even YOUNGER group for little girls to identify with.

I was soooooo pleasantly surprised when it turned out that so much more older pop-culture, humor, and sheer irreverence was packed into these three fillies.
I see a bit of my friends in them, but even more so, I see so much of myself.

CMC is best pony.
