So I challenged myself to make a giant monitor from Sonic the Hedgehog :D
Some of you may remember the small 5 inch ones I made from last year, with a total of 18 designs

Well, NOW I CAN MAKE THEM GIANT!

This bad boy stands at a massive 18 inches high, made from high quality fleece and is filled with a mixture of polyester filling and polystyrene pellets for the base (like the kind you get in bean bags) and is surprisingly light for its size. It can stand up freely without support.

The screen is made from a printable cotton material, embroidered around the edges.
The buttons themselves are felt and cotton, embroidered separately and hot glued to the screen.
I can also make these on commission with sound effects. A small voice box can play the 1-up theme when the red button is pressed!

:star:Available on commission to order!:star:
This is the only one currently in existence and is for sale. Please note me for further details.
Please be aware of shipping costs when considering this item.

Thanks for looking! :heart:

I made this for :iconubermidget: for when we hit America in a few weeks!
(Being the Zelda geeks that we are, we're gonna have SO MUCH fun stateside walking around the Disney parks with these babies!)

As I'm taking my Majora's Mask backpack, she really wanted to take one too and commissioned me to make one, so I chose her favourite shield version from Wind Waker: Link's Mirror Shield.

Although the shape was quite tricky, it did come out ok in the end.
The bird and Triforce motifs are embroidered on my machine, but guided through by hand. Every little turn and angle is judged by eye, as I do not have a programmable machine. As you may be able to tell, circles are extremely tricky for me to do, but other overall effect looks good.

Materials used:

-Faux duck cloth in royal blue
-Royal blue zip and webbing
-White waterproof fabric
-Silver, grey and gold threads for embroidery
-Forming felt for support
-Polyester stuffing for the sides
-Bias binding inside, hot-glued into place

:bulletred:I can hazard a guess you'll be seeing *Ubermidget carrying this around at the Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses in London in a few weeks. You'll probably see my other handiwork there, my Majora's Mask backpack and Skyward Sword Heart container backpack.
If you see me there, please say hi! (I'll be carrying my HUGE Ganondorf plush, so I'll be hard to miss!)

This week as I was sorting though my material box, I found a bunch of fleeces I used in various other projects that I don't use anymore.

So I decided to turn them into pillows :D

After making some black and yellow ones a couple of years ago, I made triforce coloured ones this time around.

They stand about 37-38cm high (Link is there for scale purposes only lol)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was thinking of doing a give away for 3 of these pillows, but I have yet to think what I can actually do. Perhaps a drawing submission, or a giveaway on my Tumblr page. I haven't decided yet ^^
Would you guys like one? :D
Looks like they're putting on some fancy musical number here.
PROFESSOR LAYTON: THE MUSICAL
I really gotta practice drawing characters before I actually make an actual picture thing with them in it. XD Also, top hats are hard.
This started as a doodle of Layton meant for practice, but he just looked so HAPPY I had to add in other things. Have a cute "what-if" scenario.
I don't know whether to be happy or depressed. XD
Here are the puzzle masters~! Professor Layton and his assistants.
At the start I was worried that they may not look like the characters but they turned out so cute, I really liked how older Luke turnt out. :)
I decided to experiment with the plushie style by giving them longer legs and arms. I believe it'll suit the Layton bunch since in their characters designs they have long limbs. :D
I haven't played the game with older Luke in it yet but will in the future once its release! :D Hee!
I'm just waiting for the day Flora's Separation Anxiety causes her to snap and turn into Layton-obsessed villainess. XD
Random picture done for fun. It seems the less seriously I take a fandom, the more fun I can have with it. :D
Professor Layton...
This is a boring picture because it's just for my own practice/reference.
...I have a blister on my tablet finger. :( Why did this take ten hours?
*zillabean, you are right, his simplicity makes everything hard. I had to fix my sketch like 80,000 times. xD
