I worked pretty hard to make this really earlier than usual...i seriously need the rest of the week for other project.
The people i am helping has had a lot of patience, poor ones.

Ok! Spike is next...but it may take a while, since i need to do at least two prototypes before the final one
(it is a whole new pattern)
Also take in account i am posting this earlier than usual.
(yes, to later have more time for the other project and spike)

i did make another pattern with the two eyes semi closed

PART ONE OF TWO. part two: [link]

well, if you want here is the whole trixie. In the part two is the hat, cape and base :D
you can decide what to do and what not. (for example: cape on but no hat, only hat, only Trixie)

This Took Much longer than expected, but i had great fun designing it.It is my Most complex yet papercraft model!

i will post tomorrow the finished photo, of two trixies. today is really late.

as usual i recommend paper: 140 Grs.(not too think yet not too slim)

Note:the hair goes glued to the head not straight,in a subtle angle...(well, without photo is hard to explain, please wait for tomorrow i will also post details and side/back views ...

one advice:Leave the legs to the end!! haha.

the cape was sooo difficult to design, sorry if it troubles you.Out of the many version i did, this was the most simpleone.

I had to modify a little the collar of the cape, to make it easier.

Yeah! at last, Rarity! Have fun!

finished Photo: [link]

Tips: i recommend using Superglue, specially for attaching finished hair pieces to head. whatch out your fingertips!

order:

1 cut all

2 prepare each piece (use this for help a little:[link] )

3 glue the double hair pieces and comb them before they are completely dried. this way they will not crack or get funny shapes.

4 finish rest of the body but do not glue legs yet.

5 now glue the hair pieces to the head you can also glue bits of the hair to the cheeks to help attain form. (you will see that in the finished photo)

6 when done, insert tail and then paste the legs...this way is easier to maintain a pose and equilibrium. (XD)

Done!

Sí!!

finally, :D
Please, have patience, there are here small parts.(or you can print it double sized or something)

the bow of applebloom: 1 paste light pink to pink. (you have to have now a kinda hourglass looking shape, one side light pink the other pink.
2 form an arc with each half and paste it in the middle of the shape- it should look like an actual bow tie!

recommended paper: 140 Grs A4

finally, the Apple Family (the one that matters) is now complete!

:D i got to say, granny Smith scares me a little XD she is so energetic!.

her mouth is a little hard to make so i added a classic type of mouth too. if you do the more hard one, be careful of were you glue it to the face, if you glue it too loow she will totally look like a duck.

have fun!
