here is how I made the Sewing Machine.
there are few steps I didn't make pictures of so:
- between 1 and 2 I wrapped whole structure in cling film so that the cake wouldn't have direct contact with it
- no.3 - on this picture you can see a bit of real Singer Sewing Machine I found in my family house - it was a big help to get the proportions right!
- no.5 - it took forever to get it covered smoothly! I used fondant/modeling chocolate mixture but I would say modeling chocolate made around 75-80% of it. that's how I managed to make it almost seamless
- no.6 - the piece of wood sticking out from the back was half of support I used for the big wheel. it took me 3 attempts to get it right - I tried to make it in gingerbread, but it didn't hold the shape and looked sloppy. then in Royal Icing, but even after 2 days it still wasn't dry enough. so finally I made it from the same fondant/chocolate mix I used for covering the cake, with a long skewer going inside the cake
- between 6 and 7 is missing almost  whole day of decorating. not only golden swirls but also silver details, wood effect on a cake board, fabric, buttons and all that jazz
in the end it took 3 days + time I used making the structure. the board was so big it didn't fit inside my fridge, luckily it was in the middle of mild winter so during the nights I kept it on a balcony in a big box
when I decided to make this cake I knew it was going to be epic - I was just expecting it to be an epic fail ;P but in the end even self-critical me was happy with how it turned out!

Loki pic I'm planning out. I want to do something really crazy with his hair, like make it look like he's flowing into some other weird dimension. Right now, it's just in the beginning phase. :/

This is a little guide to making your own boredom-breaker treat box toy for your rats; I make these at random as a way to keep my ratties busy for a while. I'm sure others have thought of similar things but I wanted to share this idea. You can buy treat balls that have a small hole you can fill with nibbles that your pet can shake out, however if you don't happen to have spare cash for buying such things (and constantly replacing them as you inevitably need to do with everything rats get their paws on!) then these are a cheap (essentially free) alternative. It doesn't matter when they destroy them as you can always make more when your next toilet roll runs out.

1. Take a toilet roll tube and make several cuts along each end, evenly spaced, forming 'teeth' flaps. I usually make about 8 cuts.

2. Fold in the flaps at one end to close that end of the tube.

3. Fill the half-closed tube with a selection of tidbits. Make sure there is enough to be fairly divided amongst your ratties. (As if they'd share!) Pictured in my selection are Cheerios, dry pasta, bits of bread, dried banana, dried coconut, bits of taco shell and rat-safe yoghurt drops.

4. Close the flaps at the other end of the tube too. You now have a sealed treat box that isn't too difficult for your pets to get into but still poses a challenge that will keep them occupied for a while. After a couple of times, they learn that the rattling tube is exciting and come running!

5a, b, c. Happy ratties! ^_^

This isn't rat-exclusive of course, pretty much any rodent will enjoy having a go at shaking some treats free. Make sure you put treats inside that are appropriate for the intended pet and remember not to go crazy with the amount, as obesity can shorten a rodent's lifespan.

Thanks to Raziel, Kain, Hades, Sheeva, Persephone, Dione and Freyja for the help, lol.

For those who keep asking me why do I draw Loki with blue eyes....

Well hmmm, cause they are...

I mean if Tom Hiddleston has a pair of big beautiful blue eyes
and he's the one playing Loki that mean's Loki's eyes are
also Blue...... right??? I don't know anymore

well that's enough of that, and keep reading my comic's

So I adore Kigurumis, but what if I wanted to wear something a little more fitted? More feminine and cutesy than the usual Kigurumi?

Basically, I sometimes sketch-out clothing and then sit and wistfully sigh, distraught that it does not yet exist for me to own it.
