Nothing is wrong with meI always used to hate when people looked at me. I wished to be invisible, tried to be like everyone else. It never worked. Why me? What´s wrong with me?Nothing is wrong with me2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Why do people always give labels to others? We have name, you know. Isn´t it enough? But how often do you really get called by your name? "Hey, you on left. Hello, pretty girl. Look, the nerds are coming." It´s more like this.
And there´s nowhere to run. Nowhere except-
I speeded my steps up so much that I was almost running.
What are you running from? Do you really think that you can escape?
When did it start? When I started to run? Was it in the kindergarten? Kids used to laugh that I´m fat. Kids are cruel. They don´t understand how words can hurt. It´s not their fault, they say kids would grow up. But do they? I grew and childish roundness disappeared. Yet kids kept laughing. What´s wrong with me? Why do they laugh?
You´re a nerd. Bookworm. Swat. Why don´t you wear thick round glasses like other nerds?
Stars In My EyesI'm seeing stars in my eyes,Stars In My Eyes2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Like little white nebulae,
Or the glowing of mystic fireflies.
In this sleep of which we call eternity,
We seek a way to that mortal day.
I'm seeing stars in my eyes,
Like vast rainbow supernovas,
Or the bluest of celestial skies.
It's more than just a dream of surrealism,
Than to awake to this world of dire realism.
I'm seeing stars in my eyes,
Like supermassive black holes,
Or the rarest of honest cries.
Is this is a coma of my imagination?
Or was it more than mere fascination?

Prologue: One last deed
- part 1
Under cover of the darkness, he sneaked his way through the corridor. Quickly, but quietly. His heart galloped into his chest like a runaway horse, and his forehead was covered with fine small beads of sweat. He stayed close to walls and pillars to blend in with the shadows. All his senses were alert. Every small sound of footstep was caught by his ears, no smell escaped his nose and his eyes flickered around searching and registering even the slightest movement.
He quickly ran down a long hallway with large windows. The faint silvery moonlight was thrown into the dark castle in broad stripes and lighted up the marble floors. The aging servant stayed as far away from windows and light as possible. Every wrong step could be fatal. And if he were to be seen, everything would be lost.
He was distracted for a moment by the wind, which moved the leaves on a magnolia tree outside one of the windows. Although he had always li
Another Take The human I live with calls me "Tommy Gun." Or "Kitty." Sometimes "Cat." Yeah "cat," but I'm really an alien. Though we got here first and are highly evolved, humans insist on calling us all these names. I think it's because they're unable to call us what we call each other. They can't hear us talk most of the time. We usually use what humans call "telepathy," except in extreme cases. We try other ways to talk to humans. Use "meow" umpteen ways and you'll see how hard it is.Another Take2 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
I like my human. She's a beautiful girl calls herself "Mimi" when she's on stage. Yeah "Mimi," and she's definitely human. She's a belly dancer and an excellent one. She can enchant a room full of old humans without even a drum, without even taking off any of her very many veils. She sort of undulates, like a wonderful snake might. But snakes I can eat. Mimi is way bigger than me, plus I want her to live. I won't kill her. She feeds me so I won't bring a dead sn

Kelly woke up bright and early the next day, absolutely filled to the brim with energy. She was more than eager to get back to the gym and grow even stronger. Not wanting to waste a moment, she started her morning exercise routine. Since she had surpassed 100 regular push ups the day before, she decided they were probably no longer beneficial and skipped straight to performing the single handed variant. Yesterday, single handed pushups were a bit of a challenge, but today Kelly was performing them almost effortlessly. She soon passed the 12 mark where she had to stop yesterday, and pr

James sighed, his face pressed against the table at the hamburger place. "She said I was too self-centered."
Brad patted James on the back, softly at first, then vigorously to make up for it. "Hey, don't let it get to you. We'll make some drinks at your place and then we'll play your entire collection of Queen and sing along to it till five in the morning."
James turned his face against the cool table but he couldn't find the strength to lift his cheek from it. "But Heather and I were going so great "
Brad scoffed. "You fought all the time." Brad didn't add that Heather had once told him she really liked girls more than guys and always wished she'd been born a male. He figured that would just make James fall even deeper into depression.
James glanced at the desolate glossiness of the table and puffed a bit of air at a massive chunk of straw cover scrap. It didn't even flutter it. Brad flicked the little thing away and added, "You're better off without h
Just a Quiet Afternoon"Hey Rita, it's Cassie" purred the attractive red-head down the line. "Wondering if you'd like to come over a lunch and DVDs, like we used to every Saturday, you know?" However her friend's response was not the automatically positive one she expected. "But I have so much work to catch up on and I was hoping to work on our... problem" Cassie's expression darkened and her face arranged itself into a pout as she played with her long ponytail, but as if Rita could detect what was about to come next she continued "But I will admit its been awhile and some downtime would be nice. I'll over there in about half hour, okay?" After Cassie's hopeful goodbye faded and Rita hung up, she signed as she hit the speed dial button for her local Pizza Smash to double her usual Saturday lunch order to four large pizzas. Black Goddess RisingShe was made of the night itself, an inexorable creature that thrived on darkness and passion. Black as coals her eyes were; great pools that reflected entire galaxies within them. Eyes that offered worlds of possibilities and an endless and flawless façade with which to hide her lies. They were set in a pale face and framed by a tempest of black curls that cascaded across her soft, curving shoulders and hung down her back. Her dress looked as though it was woven of deepest waters and stardust. Each movement she made was fluid-like and seemed as if though she were floating through the air with the elegance and grace of liquid conforming to its environs.Black Goddess Rising6 years ago in Horror More Like This

I feel suffocated by the mass of bodies enclosing me. I struggle to free myself. Every person who passes by me does not recognize me, does not see me. I am invisible to them, just like all the others they pass. They push and shove the other non-existing people out of their way. They are alone, just as I am alone. I wish that I was no longer so isolated.
I call out at the top of my lungs. I cannot hear myself above the din of roaring cars and the incessant babble of the crowd. My words are meaningless. I shout until my throat is dry and scorching. Still, I keep crying out, determined that my voice will be heard. I wish that a blanket of silence would settle over the whole ci

"Oh yea, says who," snapped the traveler, never taking his eyes off the wench's healthy cleavage.
"The name is Keep, and you best take my words to heart." The waitress slipped into the back and the man finally looked back at the bartender.
"Why, you going to do something about it," he said threateningly.
"Oh no, I'm a peaceful man. But the last man who came in here staring at the ladies didn't fare so well."
The traveler rolled his eyes and turned on his stool to lean on the bar as the barmaid returned. "Uh, huh.

Don't you wish,
That things didn't happen the way they did,
That if only we met under different circumstances,
Everything will be good...
And I still wish,
For tomorrow to come soon,
To hold you in my arms again,
And never let go.
Right now we can only wish for that tomorrow,
Seemingly so far away,
A fairy tale as real as you and I.
