Melody was on edge all throughout dinner. She waited for her father to come out and start planning the wedding right in front of her but he did not. She picked away at the meal, avoiding sea food at all costs, and kept up with the conversation as best she could. She glanced out the window again and exhaled deeply. Her pendent pressed against her skin, vibrating with temptation.
The princess felt her sister’s stare and glanced at the girl. If she was waiting for the same thing Melody was, they were in for a long wait. She listened to her sister’s singing and took the opportunity to drift off.
Caspian would have had dinner by now. Likely he would be entertaining her second cousins. Elsie’s boys probably had him playing tag. She smirked at the thought and wrapped her arms around her waist lightly. A whole week without Atlantica. Imagine! She shuddered at the thought.
The music ceased and on cue Melody applauded her sister. ‘We’ll have to choose a song soon. O

Jim woke up to a slimy feeling creeping across his forehead. He opened his eyes and jumped up. He heard a giggly noise as he fell over, out of his hammock and onto the ground.
Little Morph hovered over his face, chirping with pleasure. Jim moaned as a sudden pain pulsed from the back of his head. It had been five days since his little confrontation with Scroop. Since then, Jim tried to stay out of his way.
Suddenly, Morph turned into a smaller version of Silver.
"Up! Up! Up!" He squealed. "Breakfast is hot!"
Jim huffed and rubbed some sand from his eyes. Streams of sunlight streamed in from slits in the ceiling. He was usually a morning person. He wasn't like Melody, who usually didn't talk until at least 9:30.
He reached under his hammock and pulled out his boots. He slid his foot in both of them and tightened the strap on the top.
He stood up and stretched his arms out. He squinted from the light as he emerged from the lower deck. No one was out on deck. They were

Melody watched over her shoulder as she followed Jim down into the ship's hold. She had to be careful not to trip over all the various items. Ropes, bags of random things, barrels, and more were sprawled all over the floor.
"So you're sure you asked Amelia?" she asked as she stepped over some rope.
"For the last time, yes!" He laughed.
"And she said yes?"
Jim chuckled. "It's all about how you phrase the question. If you say you want to take a joy ride, she'll think you're just being lazy. If you call it a ;scouting mission,' she'll think you're being responsible." He explained.
Melody sighed. "I love your logic."
Jim laughed. "Relax. It'll be fun."
Melody didn't say anything. "I'm not here to have fun." She muttered.
Jim huffed. Melody was stressed about something, he could tell. Whenever she was alone. She was always frowning or completely expressionless. And for some reason, he didn't want her to feel like that.
When they finally reached the

Aurora awoke with a gasp. Her head sprung from the pillow and as she tried to regain control of her breathing, she heard the warbled mewing of her babe. There was another sound too, a dark cackle, one she knew all too well. The queen tossed back the covers and stumbled to the cradle where her child, her sweet, beautiful baby, lay restlessly. Without hesitation, she reached inside and picked her daughter up. Alina she was named, for she had a feeling her youngest child would be a most noble, if not graceful girl, just like her mother.
She checked her daughter over, making sure she wasn’t dying (a perpetual fear of the woman’s), and after her worries were soothed, she set out to calm her child. Alina’s cries were growing louder, meaning Aurora had best solve the problem before Philip awoke and both parents lost sleep. This being their fourth child, the parents were used to sleepless nights, but now that they were older and had to spend much time chasing after energetic
