Abandon All HopeFirst, I never wanted to write nonfiction much less about my past but my creative writing teacher thinks my army time "needs to be told." Which in my opinion is not true but even thou it is a fiction class he is going to give me extra credit for writing about it. And seeing as i have already wrote it i guess i will put it on here.
Let it be known that some things should never be told. For the day is brighter to the uninformed.
It was later may in Iraq and I was driving around western Baghdad. The temperature was 110 degrees outside and somewhere close to 130 inside our truck. I was crammed into a crappy little chair with the heavy up-armored door pushing me from one side and the huge radio mount, with its three ancient radios, pushing on me from the other. I was wearing leather hiking boots, pants that had to be tucked into the top of those boots, a t-shirt, a long-sleeve blouse, black gloves, a helmet, a pistol with its holder strapped to my leg, an

Firestar shot up in his moss in a sharp movement. Where was he? The moss was soft, like his den's was. He could remember... Dying. He could remember that, and Spottedleaf. In fact, he could remember everything. But he felt... Small. Rather small. He picked up a paw and gave a gasp. He was tiny. He was mini. He was a kit. That was the only explanation for this. Spottedleaf's words flooded back to him. ' Your life will go back, but this world will not. ' Yep, that made alot of sense. Not.
He watched the nursery door, and saw his daughter come in. " Hello, Firekit! I can see why Bramblestar convinced me to call you that. You really look like Firestar! " She purred. He gave a huff and stood up. " Squirrelflight... Um... " Firestar - Sorry, Firekit - muttered, trying to find the words to say that... That he was his own grandfather. " Yes Firekit? " Squirrelflight asked, cocking her head. " Um... Do I have a sister or brother? " He asked. His mother just purred. " Of

Aren’t funerals usually filled with rain and dark skies? I guess not. A year ago my mother died. The day of her funeral the sun was shining and we could practically hear the laughter of Mother Nature herself. My father at my left and Mason at my right, I wanted to be sad, but I couldn’t. I was more afraid of what was next. I used to be able to see my future; my parents, Mason, and I just living life normally, but when the police declared her dead everything changed. The thought of my future just became a blank space filled with black. Tears were never shed, and everyone plodded away; one by one. Life has slowly gone on, and everything has turned into a blur. I was fourteen then, now I’m fifteen and today is the last day of ninth grade.

Key has Sai pinned to the roof door. Sai struggles to break free from Key's grip.
"Come on, Sai. Use your demon side." Key said.
"No! Let me go, now!" Sai yelled.
Key still held Sai up against the closed roof door. Sai swings his leg, making Key let go of him. Key steps back a nit. Sai runs straight at him, trying to lay a punch. When he swung, Key dodges. Key smiles.
He grabs Sai's arm puts it behind his back and slams him to the ground. Again, Sai was pinned down by Key.
"Key! What do you want with me!?" Sai asks.
"I just want to see your other side. That's all." Key replied with a smile.
That's when the door opens. Four figures come out.

During the summer break, just after Damien’s graduation, Jason sat in their apartment. He was listening to CD by a violinist that played with computer generated rock music. Jason loved it; the woman had mixed two of his favorite things together. Damien burst into the room, “Jason, turn that shit off. You have got to see this.”
Jason clicked the stop button on his laptop screen. Damien hurried to his seat and grabbed the television remote. He turned on the TV and the screen was filled with a pretty blonde woman standing outside of the Whitehouse. Jason looked at Damien and asked, “What’s this?”
“We are only a few minutes from the press conference.” Damien muted the TV and turned towards Jason. Damien said, “Yesterday the UN met to talk about some attacks in Canada. You know, everyone blaming everyone else. A women appeared, that’s how they described i

Jason stared at Damien’s test in disbelieve. How did he always do that? He got a ninety-five, one point higher than Jason’s. Jason looked up to see Damien’s superior smirk, that he always gave him when he beat Jason at anything. Moreover, he always beat him, since they had met on the first day of peewee football in their neighborhood. Even Damien’s level of competiveness was greater than Jason’s. Jason wasn’t bad at peewee football, his grades were good in high school, and his grades in college weren’t bad. It was just that Damien’s were better.
“Congrats, again.” Jason said.
Damien smiled even bigger, “You know that means you’re buying the drinks tonight.” Jason nodded in defeat. Pursing his lips in thought Damien said, “What will make you give me for graduating first?”

Marceline opened her mouth, but quickly closed it. Had he really said what she thought she heard him say? Better yet; had she really said it too? She didn’t have it in mind to tell him she loved him, but to tell him the reason for their journey.
What had made her tell him she loved him?
“I don’t know if I heard correctly or if it was just my imagination Marceline.” Finn paused hesitantly, “But I really like you.” He kicked the ground with the tip of his shoe, looking nervous. “I know you probably think that I’m just some stupid kid for even thinking that anything can happen between us, but…I just; I do have the courage to at least tell you how I feel. Stephen stood idly in the dirt, watching the two new recruits do push-ups. He pulled the cigarette out of his mouth and flicked it to the ground. He placed his boot over the cigarette and ground it into dust. “Alright, do a hundred jumping jacks.”
Terri groaned inwardly; she was exhausted. “Can’t we at least learn a few new moves or something?”
“We could, but I’m in charge and I’m in charge for a good reason, love. One hundred jumping jacks, now.”
Terri sighed. She and Zack immediately set out to do one hundred jumping jacks.
Stephen leaned his body up against the tree next to him. Unfortunately that good reason is because Marie is gone on some mission. Now I get to train them. Stephen thought. He watched as Terri and Zack continued to do jumping jacks; their faces sweating rather profusely. I
Griffin SlayersGold has always been an object of human desire. It's rare, beautiful, and can be used for all sorts of jewelry. Unfortunately, humans are not the only creatures with a lust for gold and other valuable treasures. Griffins have plagued this land for centuries, hording all of the treasure in the area for themselves. My fellow humans and I have always wanted to take their plunder, but to no avail. Three years ago, we managed to kill one of them, but this was with the loss of three men and their horses. We spent three years too scared to go back up the mountain to their nest, but after much convincing on my part I had reunited the four of us that remained. Being bitten by one of us is a truly horrifying experience. It starts when you hear our howls in the dead of night, never unaccompanied by the full moon. By then, it's too late. Right when you think that you've gotten away, you'll hear growls and snarls from all around you in the shadows. You thought that you could outrun us, but you should have known better. We'll keep playing with you, slowly creeping from our circle. As we get closer to you, we'll get on all fours and bare our teeth. We'll growl and snap at you, our tails raised behind us. When we're just close enough to count the beads of sweat on your flesh, we stop. If we're lucky you'll get brave and lash out. Those kills are the most fun.

Finn’s vision turned into tunnel vision. Everything at the edges was dark and the only thing he could see was the necklace resting at the palm of his hand. The gold of it was opaque, and dingy, just like the gold he had found with Jake in their adventures together. His mind raced with everything…everything but that of what the necklace meant. He thought of different ways to polish and bring the shine back to the gold; to make it new again.
“Finn, you have to look inside of it.”
He could hear Marceline’s voice telling him to look, but he didn’t want to. He felt as if he remembered the locket, yet he couldn’t be sure. “W-where did you…” He paused not sure how to continue his question, “get this locket?”

The bluenette merely gave him an unimpressed look (despite the fact that she'd practically jumped out of her skin. She wouldn't give Terra the satisfaction of knowing that, though. She didn't need to see that smug look on his face; Aqua saw enough of that on a daily basis).
"Very... scary," she noted sarcastically, before continuing on her way to her bedroom with her books in her hand.

The next few days had been worse than his panic in Dartmoor. He had found himself alone in an old sewer tunnel, lost and without his phone. All he had was his blood stained clothes and a pocket watch.
He was unscathed, but everything felt off. His mind was working faster than ever, but at the same time he did not feel overwhelmed. At least not by the work. The new, random, impossible information flooding his head was the problem. He could not believe it, the whispers that he was not human, but an alien from a planet galaxies away.
Sherlock had wondered if he was in some sort of afterlife, despite his disbelief of such a thing.
The whole idea of life after death was to comfort those who needed it, and so he discarded that theory.

Eddie finally came to the crossway between Baysflower and Tilendale Avenue. He knew if he took Baysflower the trip would be significantly shorter, but he would have to walk past the dreaded gates. It was a bit of a risk, but Eddie refused to be late for his own wedding.

I yawned as the hour hand struck twelve. My body yearned for sleep, but my mind was determined to finish my homework.
Well it wouldn't hurt if I just put my head down, would it? No of course not. I folded my arms and laid my tired head on the make-shift pillow. My eyelids felt heavy and it was not long before they covered my dark blue eyes.
He was there, like he always is. This time the boy/man that I always dream of was sitting on a bench reading a book. I sat down beside him and touched his arm. His violet eyes looked at me and he smiled. He put his book down beside him and cupped my face.
"My dear sweet, Arianna, something bad is coming. I can feel it. Be ready for the worst." He warned just like he did in my last dream. The only difference was that instead of him being around my age he was a man probably in his thirties and we were in a forest.
"What do you mean?" I asked wanting to know what could be so bad. He leaned down and kissed my forehead.
"Goodbye." He said simply.
