UPDATE: I'm having a 10% SALE in my Etsy shop to celebrate its very first birthday!! The offer runs until July 31st and all you have to do is type in DEVIANT10 at the checkout!!! Bear Emoji-31 (Hello Hi) [V2]

I opened a shop! And this little guy - my labour of love - is one of my first features.
Sandy, here, took over 100 hours to needle felt, has a basic wire and sponge frame and comes complete with his very own 'dream sand' airplane made of wool and sprinkled in gold glitter. His eyes are made from clay which I then sanded, painted and glued in place. He is 11" tall, and 7.5" wide.

There were a lot of blood, sweat and tears making this little dude (he was my third ever needle felt creation) but I have to say, I'm really proud with how he turned out! I really wanted to get his design right, so spent a crazy amount of time researching his outfit. I also wanted him to be as life-like as possible, which I think the clay really helped with.

There was a lot of trial and error with Sandy, but I know he's made me a better needle felter - thanks, little guy!

If you're interested in purchasing Sandy then please follow the link to my Etsy site. There you can find other needle felted bits and bobs, and It's where you can request a custom order! www.etsy.com/listing/156554821… and www.etsy.com/shop/DaintyRobot?…
