"Neth... Hej! come on stop twitching damn it!" Denmark said rocking the newly born sleeping baby in his arms.
"H-how?" The Dutchman asked as he shakily grabbed a cigarette from his back pocket and attempted to light it.
"Stop that!" The Dane harshly whispered hitting the cigarette out of Netherlands' hands, "It's bad for the baby! plus, we're in a hospital!"
With a slight huff Netherlands picked up his bud and put it behind his ear, "What else do you want me to do! You gave birth to a fucking baby! you're a man! how the hell does that work?!"
"i already told you!" Denmark said rocking the baby a little more as he felt him become a little restless, "It was England's fault! He did some magic hocus pocus shiznit that involved both of us!"
The Sore Of A Deaf PoemAnother crumpled sheet thrown on the floor,The Sore Of A Deaf Poem3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Another shout, a thud, because she can't get rid of the sore,
The deaf poem of her broken heart is maybe too degraded,
She's not able to write it down, her soul is jaded,
The phrases of her life are burning on the inside,
A description about the moment when her dreams died,
It's smashing her heart and her tired mind.
From nowhere she hears a sardonic voice,
"- You're not able to hear the words anymore, in fact you never really did,
You have shed some scraps on pages, lies your soul to feed with",
She covered her ears, closed her eyes,
To stop hearing the demonic voice she tries,
"- Shut up!" she yelled again like every day,
It's impossible to escape this abomination that came in her way.
Maybe this is an already lost fight,
A decommissioned road to the healing light,
Her pathetic flounder makes no sense,
She's laying on the floor holding a broken pen.
Torn by the fall from grace,
She will leave behind just a bloody trace,

And the ache of soul carried the torch of dreams into the sky
Upon scent of mortal thirst destiny whispered in myriad
rapture of folding tides..
Lo the mythic shore, where I — a phantasm of love bleeds
into the ether of velvet sky & ocean hymn...
Lost in the wine of omni-dreaming, for our passion tis but
the humble audience of eternity
In jeweled horizons the Goddess feasts; her gaze I cannot flee
I have crossed oceans of time & drank the song of worlds
My spirit forever slain in the beauty of her immortal sea

Is also my worst fear
All the life I see
Is shadowed by the death here
The waves call me
Begging me forward
Into the sea
Only to drag me downward
What a beautiful contradiction
It's hard to tell the difference
Between death and life
Day and night
Sinking to the bottom
It was you, not them
Beauty turns to scars
Can't erase these marks
Save me from what I've done
Save me from the monster I've become
Swallowed by the ocean
I'm calm, I'm calm
My heart is broken
This is how I move on
It's better this way
I'm out of the picture
No longer causing you pain
Thinking of you now
A tear rises to the surface

A tower of signs and boards stuck on several different directions on a single post. Some were tacked on with sharp, straight nails hammered in with precision and care while others had been dismissively stapled on like cheap advertising that would rust away in the rain. Even before coming to a halt in front of the towering post, a traveller would wonder why there were so many signs with different directions leading to infinitely many paths. By some act of a joke, there were signs that even pointed to the sky. Some pointed to the ground. A few stringent posters nailed signs that pointed to the roads, but from such a long time ago that the words were unreadable. It was all very curious. Yes. "Curious" was an appropriate word for such a sight.
It was a crossroad, a gathering of paths. Which to choose? You, as a common traveller, weren't looking for any destination in particular, just a path to follow. Now, standing in front of the post riddled with words, pictures, and wood of al

"Ugh, Mathias, not now, I don't have time for your games. I'm really swamped." You groaned at the boisterous Dane. He sat on the corner of your desk, leaning towards you. His blond hair going every which way. You wondered how he got it to stay that way.
"If you need help, I'd be happy to give it to you." he said with a wink. You couldn't help but facepalm at the young man's reply.
"Mathias, please, you're gonna get me in trouble. AGAIN. Please, just go away and let me do my work." You begged from behind your desk.
"Kohler! Leave her alone and back to your station." your supervisor yelled.
"Oops, gotta go, see you at lunch, beautiful." he smiled as he quickly walked back to his cubicle.
You sighed and placed your head on your desk with a heavy sigh.
"He bugging you again?" your supervisor asked.

The final bell of the day. Students storming out of the school building. Possibilities crossing their paths.
(e/c) eyes scanned the campus. Right now, there was a variety of options: One, go out of the school grounds, revealling yet another path of possibilites…
Or, if you were one of those people, there was her, the school's gossip centre. (Name) was this school's silent, invisible observer, she knew things one wouldn't even think of, mainly because she was unnoticed. If any information on anyone in this school was needed, be it even the most unknown person, she would know it.
Of course, everything had its price.
But as it seemed, nobody wanted any info today, so (Name) let her eyes wander to option three. Abel Morgans, the school's drug dealer. The Dutch guy always wore a scowl, but (Name) knew better. His eyes said something completely different. She could see his little sister, how gentle he was with her, she could see every little detail of his life. T

It seemed that the days had dragged on as the snow storm grew more intense. It hadn't been long that on the way, the lot of you had to seek refuge at an other abandoned gas station, for the worst had yet to come. Before departing from the last gas station, Tim and Tino had cleaned the store out of any food and medicine that could be found.
But it wasn't enough.
Hunger was growing and energy was dwindling as all of you now had to ration the food. It seemed that the tensions were high for Tim was left with the job splitting the food evenly and there was always bickering that someone was getting more food than the other.

You woke earlier than usual one morning to find your home was completely snowed in. The snow must be up to your knees outside at least. Snow was a rare occurrence where you lived, so needless to say you were rather excited. You quickly dressed in the warmest clothes you owned and tried to get outside. The amount of snow outside your door made it impossible to open. "Dang it." You ran over to your window, forced it open and jumped out into the freezing snow. Though you wanted to play in the snow, you knew the most important thing was clearing a path to your door. You quickly began shoveling away at the snow.
"Hello there "_____", are you enjoying the snow? Finland ran through the snow and tackled you into a hug. "I love the snow, it's so Christmasy."
You hugged him back. "I love the snow, I rarely get to see it you know."
Finland dropped back into the snow and started to make a snow angel. "You know what we should do? We should have a snowball fight, y

I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the softly fallen snow;
I am the gentle showers of rain.
I am the field of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the grateful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight.
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom.
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing.
I am in each lovely thing.
So do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there.

Writing Love on the Walls Iceland X ReaderWriting Love on the Walls Iceland X Reader2 years ago in Romance More Like This
It was Friday evening and you and Iceland had planned to go out just like you always did. That wouldn't be happening this Friday. It was storming so bad you'd already lost power and had to start up your backup generator. To go out in weather like this would be more than idiotic. That being said, you and Iceland decided you would still have a date night, just indoors. You searched through your closets and cabinets for something different to do. You didn't just want to play a board game or watch TV, you did that all that time. You came across a ceramic mug set, all you needed to do was paint them. This could work.
"What about this Iceland?" You held it up for him to see.
He nodded happily. "Fine by me, don't be expecting any great work of art though." Iceland placed an old sheet over your table to protect it from any paint that might spill. He took a mug and a brush and began painting. "This is harder than it looks." Every time he'd paint something, he'd

Poland began shaking the door knob furiously. You two were out at the mall looking for something formal to wear to a rather important party. The problem was, you had nothing formal to wear, and you'd never had to wear anything as nice as what Poland kept putting you in. "That's it, I'm coming in."
"No, no, I'll open the door." You opened the dressing room door allowing Poland to see the way over styled dress he'd picked out for you. "I don't know, I think something a little more simple might look better."
He nodded in agreement. "You're totally right, that would look way better on me. I'll go find you something else with less sparkle and stuff." Poland ran off to find you yet another dress.
You knew this would never get anywhere with Poland choosing all the outfits. This had been going o

Not wanting to seem like a total loser, you nodded. "Yeah, sure, I can do the Ferris wheel. No problem."
Your act wasn't fooling anyone, but he nodded. "Okay, then what are we waiting for?" He grabbed you a candy apple to eat on the ride and shot off with you to the Ferris wheel. "Good thing there's no line, I hate waiting in lines." The two of you were escorted to your seats and strapped in. "You still feeling okay? You haven't touched your apple." He rubbed your knee in an attempt to be supporting.
"Oh I'm just fine, just wanted to save it for the ride." You took a bite.

You awoke at the dawn of morning with the bright light peeking through the curtains and hitting the delicate flesh of your face. You felt a strong, familiar arm slung across your waist protectively as the person behind you slept peacefully. With a content sigh you rolled over and kissed the tip of his nose to awaken him. He immediately awoke, seemingly a bit surprised, but once he saw your face the blonde relaxed and stared lovingly into your eyes with a small smile plastered upon his adorably sexy face. He leaned over and placed a gentle kiss on the bridge of your nose as well and you giggled happily.
"Mornin' babe~." he greeted, sitting up and allowing the thin white sheets to slide down his well-toned pectoral and abdominal.
A light pink blush dusted your soft cheeks as you sat up as well, "Goooood morning~."

"Ok man we get it, who doesn't like sweets? Now please continue your boring conversation in my closet." America made a gesture for you two to get your butts in the closet. With that Turkey gently took hold of your elbow and led you to the closet. "Thank you, now have fun." America closed the door leaving you in the dark with someone you knew practically nothing about.

seasonsInanis, Lonely Goddess of Indulgence.seasons5 years ago in Spiritual & Occult More Like This
Season of everything.
Inanis, Lonely Goddess of Indulgence, could not stop thinking about a funeral procession she had once seen, a macabre parade accompanied by the strangest, most spine-chilling music, celebrating death. The image would not leave her. There had been dancing, and bizarre masks. The marchers themselves had been completely silent, and their silence had almost drowned out the music. But not entirely.
Inanis missed the beauty of it all. She inhaled the fumes from the fire, and looked out of the window, gazing deep into the depths of the universe. The stars were still moving further away from her.
"Come back," whispered Inanis, Lonely Goddess of Indulgence, and closed her eyes. There was nothing left to do but drink. The pastime was already starting to lose its charm, and not even half an eternity had gone by. Inanis decided to find someone to play dice with. She was terrible at dice, but she could afford to lose.

Wander you far across lands, forest & desert sea
Or dream you deep in a cloudless sky ...
Yet a presence looms & beckons, spirits unseen
For they are the Djinn, silent and ever watching,
embalmed into seasons of mortal blood-flow
And beware, for I shalt not speak of this again,
lest darkness unto thy flesh they quest and sow
Eons adrift in smokeless fire did they slumber...
Befallen to Earth's domain, they undressed fate
The Djinn, ancient dwellers humans would fear
Betwixt worlds they linger, shimmering in fire
Thru parallel dimensions they reach, seducing
dreams and reality, life... You!
Peering eyes thru the veil of time and space;
shape shifters of any form, stalk and hunt
Thoughts & flesh canst not escape their magick
Besieged and shadowed, the human race
til they are sent back to whence they came
And death became a wanton treasure,
where Angels pillage & Demons lust in flame
