The "Super Mario" Fanfic Drinking Game
Take 1 sip if:
-Luigi feels overshadowed and neglected by Mario. (Bonus points if he resents him for it too)
-A character other than Mario goes on his/her own quest, such as Luigi, Yoshi, or *gag* Mary-Sue.
-A character other than Mario has his/her own type of game, such as "Peach Party" or "Daisy Kart".
-It's a SMRPG sequel where something happens to the Star Road and Smithy comes back. (Bonus points if Geno comes back because of it)
-Mario is one, several, or all of the following characteristics: fat, lazy, greedy, bossy, selfish, and overall a bastard. Oh, and he

Mario whistled as he walked down the cobblestone path that led through the Mushroom village. The weather was perfect for a day out. Autumn had set in with all its glory, the leaves of the trees turning to multiple shades of red, yellow, orange and gold.
Stopping to admire the scenery, Mario turned when he heard his name being called.
"Mario! Wait up!" came a young girl's voice.
"Yeah, wait!" mimicked another girl. It was Rainbow and Sun, the daughters of Mario's friends Raz and Raini.
"Hello bambini," he greeted them in Italian, making them both giggle.
"What does that mean?" Sun, the younger one asked.
"It means 'Children'." Mario explained.
"Cool! I wish I could speak another language." Rainbow said.
Sun tugged on her sister's dress. "Ask him, ask him!" she urged.

Happy Birthday Luigi 5The car had arrived at the Old Mushroom Buffet. Luigi got down, then Daisy, then Mario, then Peach and finally Toad. The driver parked in an open parking space and had agreed to wait for them there. “Mm. The five of them stepped in front of the usher, who was a Toad and he was standing on what appeared to be a podium. Luigi chuckled, but he quickly covered it up with a cough. The Toad eyed Luigi suspiciously, raising one eyebrow. “Ahem,” Daisy said. The Toad turned his attention back to the princess. “Do you have a reservation?” he asked. Daisy nodded and said: “Yes. It’s under the name Toadstool.” The Toad flipped the pages of his notebook, searching for the name.
“I’m sorry, but the name Toadstool has a reservation in…” he trailed off and glanced at his wristwatch. “About 5 minutes,” he concluded. Daisy was starting to lose
Happy Birthday Luigi 3Bright and early next morning, Princess Daisy was having breakfast with her parents. Her train would leave at 9:00 o’clock A.M. The kitchen table was silent. Richard seemed to be a little more convinced about Luigi, but not much. He kept looking at his daughter as if he wanted to say something, but couldn’t find the words. Lillian, however, wore a small smile on her face. Sure, she would miss her daughter, but she would be with friends, and the one man she truly loves. Only one thing kept her from being completely calm and happy: Richard’s attitude. If only he would understand.
Daisy was very happy, because she would be seeing her best friend Peach, her best friend Mario, Toad, Toadsworth and especially Luigi. She had slept pleasantly the night before and her energy and excitement seemed to leap right out of her.
When they finished, Daisy rushed upstairs to quickly fix her hair

Maybe that's how I knew. The signs he tried to hide were just replaced by other signs. The over-eagerness to attend to daily chores were accompanied by soft sounds of pain. Going outside, he would wince slightly as the sun hit him. He even stopped reading at night.
I kept quiet, until one night after dinner, I came in from putting some letters in the mail box and I heard him coming out of the bathroom. Something told me he had just been sick.
I heard him shuffle into the living room and a soft click as the tv was turned on. I entered.
I sat next to him on the couch. He was staring blankly at the tv, the sound turned down to nearly inaudible. The lights were off, but in the flickering glow, I could see his eyes were sunken in, his face white. He looked exhausted.
"Mmm?" he gave me a faint smile. "Hey, Weege. What's up?"
"Mario, you have one again, don't you?" I kept my voice low.
How I feel about him (Princess Peach Version)In most fairytales, it’s always the brave knight or the valiant prince who rescues and marries the beautiful princess, and sure there are stories where a common man has a chance to marry a princess, but he’s usually a farmer, a tailor, or a man who makes a deal with the king for the maiden’s hand. For as long as I could remember, Mario and I have been very close friends; from infancy to childhood. Over the years, we seemed to have forgotten about each other, but I started to remember them slowly when they returned many years later to save my kingdom fr

In pitch darkness, a boy stood. His bright blue eyes glanced around, not sure as to where he was. Then, he saw the huge monster-like creature in front of him. As black as the darkness around it, it opened its maw, revealing several rows of sharp teeth, each as easily as tall as the boy. It let out a roar that shook the entire area.
The boy gasped loudly. Then he shielded his eyes, as a bright purplish light began to glow. A glowing orb appeared above the monster's head, and a voice began to speak.
Rise, Link The time has come for you to awaken You are fated to have a hand in a great destiny, and it will soon find you The time has come for you to awaken
The light vanished, and the monster let out another roar. Link cringed, closing his eyes. After a moment, it became silent. Then a strange noise was heard, almost like distant chirping. Link warily opened his eyes and looked around. When he turned back to th

Luigi awoke some time later from another nightmare, swearing he heard Mario calling his name. Sighing, he sat up and glanced at the clock.
Mario's either still out, or he went to bed, Luigi thought. He jumped slightly as the tv screen went fuzzy.
"Huh?" Getting up, he approached and reached for the knob.
"LUIGI!" a voice yelled.
Luigi yelped and falling on his backside, he scooted back against the chair. The screen cleared and showed Professor Gadd.
"Professor? What the..."
"I need your help, m'boy. The ghosts of Evershade Valley have gone crazy! Er, what are you doing on the floor?"

Mario paused and turned to the group of Smashers he'd been escorting around the new mansion.

Zelda crossed her arms and cocked an eyebrow.

Several of the male smashers opened their mouths to protest, but Meta Knight cut in.

The next few hours seemed to rapidly pass Luigi's eyes in hazy, whirling screenshots. There was one of Mario falling to the floor, unable to breathe, another one that showed the doctors rushing to help him, and another one that showed Mr. L wearing a blank little smile on his face as he looked at Mario. He said something, but no sound came out. A few doctors managed to get a new syringe and a straitjacket and were carefully approaching him.
Luigi remembered the medical wing, painfully white with the occasional red cross symbol. He recognized the X-rays, one rib having a thin line through it, and the doctor telling Mario that he would be alright within a few weeks, just take deep breaths, no pressure on the rib cage. No bandages on the sides of his chest, or breathing would be deemed more difficult, healing would be corrupted. He could see the little wolf nodding weakly, a tiny wisp of a person on the bed, then immediately falling unconscious thereafter. Luig

Using the volcano as heat, the boys roasted two giant marshmallows. They gave one to the people in Hawaii and the other they chopped up and gave to everyone in Danville. Phineas had saved a couple extra pieces to make smores with the gang.
The next morning was the first day of eighth grade. Phineas and Ferb were sad that the summer was over, but expected that school year to be pretty good. They planned to make small inventions whenever they could. But today they hadn't done anything. Since it was the first day, they had to get the feel of the average school day. They noted how much time they had at lunch and in the mornings before their classes began. Right now, Phineas, Ferb, Baljeet, and Buford were in their Algebra class.

The Mario Bros. rushed to the castle, not hoping to miss the rendezvous time of Bowser kidnapping Princess Peach. The older brother spent the first twenty minutes after dawn getting dressed. After a five minute mad run, the finally reached the home of the princess. Luigi's ghost dog, Polterpup panted behind them as they crossed the drawbridge.
"There you two are!" Peach's steward, Toadsworth called angrily. "You were almost late! What was taking you so long?!"
"Sorry, Toadsworth! It's private business between me and bro!" the older twin answered while the three flew past the brown old Toad. He just cocked an eyebrow at the response. The humans push the big door to the throne room violently. Sitting there at a table set for three, sipping tea like she usually does, was the princess. She looked to the doorway, seeing two plumbers heaving for air and a ghost canine panting madly.

It was a hard thing for Phineas and Ferb to come up with what to do on a summer day. It was only 45 days left till school started, and they had to think of something incredible, you know. That's when Isabella came in with a little disturbed look on her face.
"Hi, Isabella," Phineas greeted the sweet little girl.
"Phineas, you're not going to believe this. This morning, while I was helping my mom in her spice garden, this mysterious green tube just grew out of the ground and there was this giant hole inside. A long, dark, hazardous hole right at the top."
"That's weird. But I don't if I don't believe it, but it does sound a bit silly."

For one, it's not like Mario and Luigi were born at the same time. Luigi was born later, and thus is younger and age can create quite a barrier when it comes to self-confidence. It doesn't help at all, as well, that Mario's shielded Luigi and fussed over him, without allowing his brother to make something of himself. Not that Daisy blames Mario in fact, she's glad that Luigi has such a caring brother, but there's no doubt in her mind that his over protectiveness has indeed influenced the size of the shadow he's cast over his little brother. Since Mario tries his best to protect Luigi from his fears rather than forcing him to face them (of course he would, though; after all, who would honestly want to purposely put a loved one in danger?), the younger Mario brother has unfortunately had no opportunities to learn for himself how to deal with his fears.
That's not the only problem Daisy has with the Mario versus Luigi

It wasn't three seconds before the chubby plumber was beside the old Toad, watching the princess's room carefully, scrutinizing it like as if a monster was going to slam the door any second. "What, Toadsworth?"
The old Toad seemed to sniffle as he brought his hand up to his eyes. "She's doing it again," he gasped. "She attacked me."

Luigi grasped a pen in his hand, shifting a piece of paper from a pile of printer papers to the desk. He trembled at the very words he wanted to write on the piece of paper. Lady Luck wasn't smiling on him today, so why should She now? But Luigi had to go through with his thoughts, whether or not it held misfortune for him in the future. He had come this far he couldn't stop where he was.
Luigi pressed on the end of the pen to write with it, and scribbled down words with his neat and curly handwriting. "I can't remain here, Mario. I don't feel like I belong." What a nice start, Luigi reflected bitterly. He continued writing, knowing how awkward he sounded throughout this letter already. "The princess doesn't need me. She needs you. Neither does Daisy. And Yoshi never liked me, anyway." He knew he was going to get yelled at by Mario for the last sentence, but he could care less. <
