Down by the Walls of Wapping, where I met a sailor gay,
Conversing with a bouncing lass, who seemed to be in pain,
Saying, William, when you go, I fear you will ne'er return again.
His hair it does in ringlets hang, his eyes as black as soles,
My happiness attend him wherever he goes,
From Tower Hill, down to Blackwall, I will wander, weep and moan,
All for my jolly sailor bold, until he does return.
My father is a merchant the truth I will now tell,
And in great London City in opulence doth dwell,
His fortune doth exceed ₤300,000 in gold,
And he frowns upon his daughter, 'cause she loves a sailor bold.
A fig for his riches, his merchandize, and gold,
True love is grafted in my heart; give me my sailor bold:
Should he return in poverty, from o'er the ocean far,
To my tender bosom, I'll fondly press my jolly tar.
My sailor is as smiling as the pleasant month of May,
And oft we have wandered through Ratcli

There was a beautiful sunset coming then.
The sun is white hot and high.
I sat in the sand with my toes soaking in the water.
Two old men sit on a bench parallel with the outer wall of the building.
He stepped inside my lingering footprints and stopped right behind me.
My footsteps echo precious old memories against the walls after I come in.
We were alone.
I'm almost the only one there, and it makes me feel more noticed than I like.
I turned and eyed him.
Everyone stares as I walk into the elevator.
He looked down at me with a faint smirk.
Remembering keeps me from smiling.
And then he sat down at my side.
One other person comes in and stands next to me.
The lights in his eyes danced like the glow on the water.
A red light clicks on when I press the button for the tallest floor to which the elevator goes.
Minutes passed us by.
It takes only a few minutes.

1. Rubber Bands: Okay I know some people may still see this as self-harm, but using a rubber band is much less damaging than cutting or other such things.
2. Cranking up music: Whether is angry, emo, country, pop, techno, whatever, blasting music can be used as an outlet for one's emotions. Experiment and find out what works for you; it may not even necessarily be your favorite genre of music.
3. Pillows/Stuffed Animals: This was suggested to me by a friend. It may feel odd or a little childish, but clinging to a stuffed animal or wrapping one's arms tightly around a pillow can bring a sense of comfort. I was also told to try transferring all of my emotions into it. Believe me, this one works.
4. Square Breathing: Yet another tip I got from a friend. Close your eyes, wrap your arms around yourself if you have to and breathe. Count in to four slowly, hold your breath for the

No - It's just - You never cook.
That doesn't mean I'm incapable of doing so.
Never said you couldn't. I'm just surprised you did. Are you up to something?
What would I be up to that would result in breakfast?
I don't know. Experiment maybe? Broke something and this is your apology.

I do apologize!

"I do mind. You promised me this morning that you'd help out. Can you just, for once, fulfill your promise?" John sighed irritably.
It was obvious that John wasn't going to leave Sherlock alone until he helped. So he swung his long legs off the couch and sauntered to the kitchen. That first evening with Sherlock after 'The Study in Pink' case; John walked around the darkened rooms, peeking into Sherlock's open bedroom door. It took a while for the consulting detective to motor down after the death of the serial killer cabbie. Now he was sleeping, peacefully; a jumble of long limbs thrown carelessly upon the bed. It was good to see Sherlock finally at peace. He slept in the all-together, John smiled at that.
[What a quirky young man,] John thought, [brilliant, but eccentric as they come. Would life always be like this living in the wake of a genius like Sherlock Holmes?]
John had killed the cabbie that night, but to protect Sherlock, he would have gladly killed him every night for the rest of his life. Sherlock was alive, so vibrant, a magnet of personality. His genius had a price though; he needed training in the art of human relationships, in his 'timing'. Oh and there wa

John had a subdued fierceness about him. He carried himself well and was not above speaking his mind. Sherlock liked that about him. The more time he spent with the short, brave, outspoken man, the more comfortable he became. Sherlock wasn't comfortable with many people at all. Mrs. Hudson. Yeah, that was it, well maybe a bit of Lestrade.
The first time John Watson had walked through that door at Bart's, Sherlock had felt a tinge of something. Strange that. He never felt at all. He'd walled off feelings, built the barricades tall and strong against those pesky problematic emotion things. But there it had been, a sensation that he'd never felt before.
He'd seen the psychosomatic limp and immediately his mind worked to solve the problem. That was what his mind did, all the time. Solve the problem; whether it was a serial killer or a psychosomatic limp. So inside his 'study in pink' case he'd placed his solution for John's limp. Redirection, he'd redirected
