I just want to let the people know
that life can't be dug by a hoe

MonstersNovember stabs at my heartMonsters2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Ice cold fingers dig through me, searching and grabbing
stealing away my summer air
the demons of December eat what's left of me
digging through the scraps
snatching furiously at whatever's left
January comes and goes like a vulture
Scaring away the Holidays and taking what's left
I'm gasping for air, tears frozen on my face. Frostbite nipping at my nose, I hear
Desolation at my door
February, the ghost of winter
Haunting my corpse. Guarding what's left,
Cautiously scratching at the pieces
March is bipolar
Should I nibble what's left of this poor creature?
Or help her find her way?
March is bipolar. The lamb o

How can you tell?
You feel that?
A soft happiness coming from the depths of your heart.
Suddenly, a bullet hits.
Shattering glass hearts.
Everything bleeds away.
Now you have nothing.
No life. No hope.
You are alone.
A cold, dark presence forms where the love once was.

Is also my worst fear
All the life I see
Is shadowed by the death here
The waves call me
Begging me forward
Into the sea
Only to drag me downward
What a beautiful contradiction
It's hard to tell the difference
Between death and life
Day and night
Sinking to the bottom
It was you, not them
Beauty turns to scars
Can't erase these marks
Save me from what I've done
Save me from the monster I've become
Swallowed by the ocean
I'm calm, I'm calm
My heart is broken
This is how I move on
It's better this way
I'm out of the picture
No longer causing you pain

You just don't understand,
What it's like being me.

Another shout, a thud, because she can't get rid of the sore,
The deaf poem of her broken heart is maybe too degraded,
She's not able to write it down, her soul is jaded,
The phrases of her life are burning on the inside,
A description about the moment when her dreams died,
It's smashing her heart and her tired mind.
From nowhere she hears a sardonic voice,
"- You're not able to hear the words anymore, in fact you never really did,
You have shed some scraps on pages, lies your soul to feed with",
She covered her ears, closed her eyes,
To stop hearing the demonic voice sh

You feel the threats, they be comin'
So hot in your head that you don't see what you're doin'
You're knockin' 'em down
Just so they wont come around
You want your Queen on your throne
But in the end you're alone
The world turns to grey
There is noone left to say
I love you
When Karma comes back 'round
And you're standing on empty ground
You want them all to come back
But the forgiveness train isn't on your track
Listen to what I say...
Or your world will melt away
I love you
So don't take the easy way out
Don't push me away or else you'll find out

Look at that.
The first thing you think is that you hate me.
Stop saying "I love you"
Just tell me the truth.
and tell me you hate me.
Like you have always,
always thought from the very beginning.
Just tell me. I'd rather hear
the truth from you.
Let me know I can trust you.
That you'll tell me the truth.
To let you become happy.

Nos sonhos em preto e branco
No cinza dessa cidade
Nenhuma Luz pode me salvar
Das escolhas que fiz
Aquele que lhe dá acalento
O que te ouve de verdade
O passado não vai voltar
O que é 'Ser Feliz'?
Percebo que minha existência
Foi feita para ser quem é
E nem em mil vidas
Eu poderia compreender
Talvez nossa diferença
Esteja onde estiver
Nas palavras proferidas
Ou no acaso do saber
Seja a definição
Do que conhecemos por 'Razão'
Você está em sua primeira opção de mundo
Eu estive, e sempre estarei... Em meu segundo.
Secrets of the DjinnLo the winds howl "Never you roam the mist"Secrets of the Djinn9 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
Wander you far across lands, forest & desert sea
Or dream you deep in a cloudless sky ...
Yet a presence looms & beckons, spirits unseen
For they are the Djinn, silent and ever watching,
embalmed into seasons of mortal blood-flow
And beware, for I shalt not speak of this again,
lest darkness unto thy flesh they quest and sow
Eons adrift in smokeless fire did they slumber...
Befallen to Earth's domain, they undressed fate
The Djinn, ancient dwellers humans would fear
Betwixt worlds they linger, shimmering in fire
Thru parallel dimensions they reach, seducing
dreams and reality, life...

I've waited all my life to meet someone like you, all my life I've felt
alone, now that I have you, that is never going to overcome me again.
My life may be in ruins, but my heart continues for you. I never felt this
way about anyone before. Whenever I see you I become happy. No
matter my mood you can always make me smile. A life at one time I
would have said life is cruel, but now I must say that it is both bitter
and sweet I love the feel of your arms around me, shielding me in your
embrace, whispering softly into my ear. As I rest in your arms I come to
the conclusion that you're the only one for me, and that I love you so.

Through truth you'll get anywhere.
You're perfect the way you are they said.
You're something beautiful to share.
I remember hearing this all the time,
recollecting those words as I write this rhyme.
There was one thing that they forgot to say
which is what my mantra is here and today.
Though you may be you and the best to believe
you still need to work to be beneficial
in the lives of others and yours to achieve
anything that will not be something superficial.
People forgot to say that work is needed.
Not the normal amount that keeps you in the gray,
but mind wrenching, sweat creating, limit exceeded.

The stories were nothing like he imagined.

Something he could never do.
The bird loved hearing his stories

QuotesA person who looks so much for something will never find it; Only when that person stops looking for love, will they find love. ~James BaileyQuotes6 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
What is the difference in love and lust? alot of people think that there in love when in fact they only lust for the other. Most of people describe love as an emotional feeling that can not be described and others don't believe in love, but what does anyone really know, only a few people has the knowledge, but don't care to pass it on, I know that I have that knowledge and when you do, you will be able to have the best relationship with someone that only others dream of.,, By: James Bailey

Would it be wrong if I said I wanted to see you?
The sparkle in your eyes
The smile on your face
The emotions in your heart
Would it be wrong if I said I wanted to hear you?
The beating of your heart
The laughter in your voice
The blood though your veins
Would it be wrong if I said I wanted to feel you?
Your strong, gentle hands holding mine
Your face buried in my neck
Your breath on my cheek
Would it be wrong if I said I loved you?

I tuck and I bind,

But still somehow
I cannot find
The man inside
He wants out,
Let him free!
But he knows what you
Expect him to be
So I try to exceed
What you think of me
And make you change
How your thinking sees
Just a girl with small boobs
and a sock in her pants
But that's not me
You're just in a trance
Society's made you
Feel what they feel
And think what they think
Until it's not real
To hope that someday
You'll be who you need
Who you want
Who you feel
You really should be.
So I write this story
In hopes you'll find
That I'm still me
Whether I bind
Or hold my head high
Or look like

Slipping through the cracks.
Where you're going,
Always have to ask.
You never lie,
You touch the sky,
You're never coming down.
Touch the wall,
Leave them all,
Go and wear your crown.
It's all a game,
They're all to blame,
It's never going to end.
So stand up tall,
Stand against the wall,
Prove that you won't bend.
It matters not,
If one is hot,
Only if one is kind.
You can fight,
For what is right,
You're not alone, you'll find.
You can win,
Against this sin,
And you can prove your worth.
Just stand up tall,
Back against the wall,
And throw them to the hearth!
