I'll never understand him, not one bit. Our heads just work too differently, and yet, here we are, in the same position.
N and I both served under Ghetsis, but N was told he was Ghetsis's son while I don't really have a position, I'm simply there. N had the amazing power to understand what Pokemon where thinking and feeling, whereas there was nothing really special about me. N believed in every word Ghetsis fed him, telling him lies about how Pokemon should be 'liberated' from their PokeBalls. I wasn't as naive as N, and I had my own ideas while I pretended to listen.
But there some things we had in common, we were both found by Ghetsis as children. But N grew up looking at Ghetsis like a father while I did not. And we both had one letter names, his name's N and mine's E.
"E, stop daydreaming. Father has requested we train our Pokemon."
I snapped out of my thoughts and saw N standing right in front of me, only a few inches away. I squirmed from our close proximity, but N didn't seem bo

'Penny for your thoughts, N?'
N looked up and saw Zoroark standing in the doorway, a black bow tie around his neck and his normally wild fur neatly combed out and tamed. Seeing his best friend look so formal made the greenette chuckle lightly. Heck, just seeing his best friend, knowing that he was alive and well, was enough for him to smile. "Have I ever told you," N said as he approached the Illusion Fox Pokémon and petted the top of his head. "How grateful I am to you?"
Zoroark blinked a few times before smiling and rolling his eyes. 'You're not just saying this because of the whole "different lifetime where I was never in your life so you became a jerk" thing, are you?'
"Maybe a little," He admitted, scratching the back of his head in abash.
Zoroark tilted his head to one side, giving N a curious look. 'By the way, how's it going with remembering that life?'
A frown replacing his smile, a sigh breathed through N's lips. "It's no good. Try as I might, it seems that all

A New Beginning to an Old AdventureA New Beginning to an Old Adventure3 years ago in Romance More Like This
A girl with dark brown, glossy hair stepped into the halls of an airport in central Ishuu. She sighed, and dragged her bags along. Maybe she could just pull out Zekrom but that would bring painful thoughts. Someone follows her, helping her along and telling her things and giving her a map of where she was going and whatnot. The atmosphere feels of melancholy and nostalgia.
"Are you sure?" Cheren asked.
"Yeah," White sighed. "After what that sage told me I can't stop thinking about it, and this is my final decision." She didn't even bother to remember the sages' names.
"Okay. But two years ?"
"I know I'm not sure if he'll ever come back, but " White huffed, the nostalgia on her face obvious. "I have to find him. He's still out there, I know it."
"Then do as you wish. I'll respect your decision.

"What am I looking at?"
"N!" Laughing, White gave him a playful slap on the arm. At this point, N no longer flinched in fear when he was touched, and had grown accustomed to White's method of play. The light taps and flicks in the forehead were only meant to be fun.
"What do you mean what are you looking at? Can't you see everything I've done?"
"No. You're still covering my eyes."
"Oh!" Embarrassed, the girl immediately drew her hands away from his face with a flustered grin. "So?"
Bewildered, N stepped into his room and gazed in wonderment at all of White's renovations. His bedroom was actually a bedroom now; topped with a pokeball shaped dresser for his clothes, a mirror, and even a table with new ornaments. The highlight of the entire room, and what was really capturing N's attention was his lamp.
The spherical light bulb stretched up to the ceiling, and wrapped around it was a glow-in-the-dark mew decoration. The stand to the lamp was golden, with engraved p
