#82) How long do you think "Friendship is Magic" will last for? What is a good amount of seasons? Honestly, I want it to go on until at least Season 8.
Answer: Season 8 is a stretch. This is really a two-part question. The first part is about how long I realistically think that the show will last, based on speculation and circumstantial evidence. The second is about how long I personally believe the show should last, which is a different matter altogether.
To engage with the first part, we know that the show at least has in front of it another 13 episodes. After that, more might be made, or the show may maintain its success based on repeats. I can't predict when the show will end exactly, but it's pretty much a given that when Hasbro update the toy-line again, the show will be replaced. It's impossible to talk about "Friendship is Magic" without discussing it directly in parallel to the toys, as they both run off of each other and help to sustain one another. There

"Don't worry about it, Sweetie Belle," the Pegasus filly said with a smile, "Everything will be alright, you'll see."
"How can you be so sure?" asked Sweetie Belle, "How do you know she's going to approve of us being together?"
"I just know," she answered, her reassuring smile on her face, "You need to calm down and stop worrying so much!"
"I'll try," she replied, letting out a small sigh of worry.

“I have the same dream every night.” The room is dark and the only thing to be herd is the gentle breathing next to me, I feel the soft fur of the hooves that hold me, and I feel her warm body against mine. These are no comfort to the nightmare rattling in my brain. In the dream, that dream I have every night since we met and I fell in love with her that mare I love, I awake as my true self. The cold, insect like monster pony kind has come to fear. We feed off of love and affection. We hide in plane sight, we are the Changelings and we must feed. I awake like that wrapped in her loving hooves and then I turn to see the look of shock, horror and hatred on her face. “We can never be together” I mutter in my sleep, tossing and turning. BE-BEEP! BEEEEP! BE-BEEP! BEEEEP! The alarm rings on, swiftly I get out of bed leaving her alone and cold. Rushing to the bath room I check my reflection in the mirror for what feels like the millionth time.

The young filly slowly made her way down the stairs and was cowering with every step. She had never seen her sister this angry before, and she was terrified.
"What were you thinking? Ya ruined mah dress. Rarity's gonna kill me." Applejack turned her gaze to her baby sister and was stunned to see the filly cowering at the foot of the stairs crying. She suddenly felt disgusted with herself, "Applebloom. C'mere."
The filly just stood there shaking like a leaf, "I'm sorry sis." She could not bring herself to get close to her sister.
"Ah'm sorry, sugarcube. I shouldn' have yelled at ya like that." Applejack walked to her sister and gently hugged the filly.
Applebloom continued to cry, "Scootaloo wanted to practice on a dress, an' ah thought ya wouldn't care if we used it." She looked up to her sister, "Ah'm really sorry. Ah'll take it to Rarity and tell her what happened."

The Pogona Institution for the Magically Inclined; call it your real-world Hogwarts equivalent if you will. This was a prestigious college, located in far off in the Canadian wilderness, surrounded by lush forests and mirror-like lakes, beyond which the snow-covered mountains rise to dominate the skyline. The college itself was not unlike your modern campus grounds, only it featured more of an elegant decor than most other public educational establishments. Despite the absolutely beautiful view, this school was particularly private, and only those who prove themselves to be truly capable of wielding arcane forces are allowed to enter. This process is full of all sorts of challenges and troubles, but some people manage to make it in by the skin of their neck. Two such people are new students Aaron and Bennett, who had just enrolled a week ago.

No matter how foolish,
Or insane they seem...
Chase your dreams.
Never stop running.
Don't let anything
Impede your progress.
Are your eternal goals.
No matter the obstacles,
No matter what happens...
Your dreams are eternal.
Continue the chase,
Never again will you be lonely.
Never again will you suffer.
You may lose your glitter,
But you will never
Lose your sparkle.
Always chase your dreams,
Because no matter what they seem...
If you live your dreams,
Never again will you be lonely.

And he smiles and sais, "Hey there."
When he smiles and sais, "Hey there,"
I swear I could just grow wings.
So today at 8:11
I decided I should meet him.
I decided I should meet him
In the proper pony way.
So today at 8:11,
When he smiled and said, "Hey there,"
I said, "Hi, my name is Soarin,"
And he softly answered, "Hey."
And I said, "My name is Soarin,

And he said his name was Braeburn,
But all I could say after that was, "Pieeeeeee..."

So today at 8:11, I told Braeburn we were flying

CHAPTER 11: Shelter (First draft. Final version in the works)
The sun continued to rise slowly in the morning chill and the frigid draft of the wind blew through the apple trees of the Apple family. The rumble of thunder echoed in the distance while it whistled around Radiance, making her want to curl into a tight ball. She couldn't hear anything, open her eyes, or move more than a little, but she could feel the bitterness of the breeze down to her bones. Her body shivered and her mind could not think of anything but the cold, as if ice had frozen her in place. Slowly, her senses began to return, and only when the crackle of a small fire could be heard and felt did she relax. Her heavy eyes opened narrowly, watching the blurred movements of the amber sparks in front of her. Their dim glowing air patterns danced before her before rising up into the air and disappearing in the small plume of grey smoke. A figure poked at the smoldering wood, keeping it alive and preventing the w
Airshipping Is MagicThe morning air was crisp and cool with barely a breeze blowing. The sky was crystal blue, and the rays of the sun played lazily across the green countryside. The little purple sparkly blimp slowly rose into the air, enjoying the wind as it played across her surface. Her propellers spun into life as she turned in a westerly direction, the fluted spire that jutted out from her control deck pointing the way.
Twilight wasn't a big blimp. Her gasbag was large but stubby, her fins small and protruding, and her purple gondola cabin was slung almost apologetically underneath. Growing up as a little balloon in the big city she had always been jealous of the other airships, who always seemed to be more graceful than she. But soon study had paid off.
Today, she was on an important mission. Today she had to ferry vital medical aid across Airquestria. A hailstorm had hit the town of Hull, and puncture repair kits were urgently needed.

What was he thinking? Of course it was. He had spent the last six months working on it. How could he suddenly not want it anymore? He gazed off into space, swirling the vial of clear liquid. Once he took the plunge, there was no going back. With great mental effort, he pushed the doubt from his mind. Resolve filled him; he knew he was meant for this.
Standing at his kitchen sink, near the make-shift lab that he had cobbled together from bits and pieces of equipment he had stolen from work, he pulled the stopper off the vial. Now exposed to oxygen, the liquid began to froth, like a can of soda that had been shaken. He tipped the vial slightly, so that the foam spilled out into the sink. Soon, the vial calmed, and the liquid sat still, albeit with a slightly murkier appearance, like milk mixed with water. He continued to swirl the vial, and the liquid became warm.
It was ready.
Bracing himself, he took a deep breath, and

“Well that’s a good thing to hear!” Jeff says with a laugh, “We don’t want you to be undeserving of your new raise, am I right?”

Chapter II: "The Welcome Wagon Comes to Town"
Written by Diane N. Tran
For the first time in her mail-mare career, the pegasus named Derpy Hooves was late in a delivery. That delivery consisted of one single, solitary letter to be dropped off at the very last residence of her rounds, Ponyville's Old Clock Tower. When she arrived at the building, she was, of course, as punctual as ever, but the mail-box was still missing from the lawn and she didn't have the courage to knock on the door again.
Dressed in her saddlebags, pacing back and forth, she was at a loss of what to do at the moment, so she paced some more. If she left it on the doorstep, the wind could blow it away. If she slipped it underneath the doormat, it might not be seen. Then a thought came to her, perhaps she could squeeze the letter between the cracks of the door.
Placing the letter between he
