CHAPTER 11: Shelter (First draft. Final version in the works)
The sun continued to rise slowly in the morning chill and the frigid draft of the wind blew through the apple trees of the Apple family. The rumble of thunder echoed in the distance while it whistled around Radiance, making her want to curl into a tight ball. She couldn't hear anything, open her eyes, or move more than a little, but she could feel the bitterness of the breeze down to her bones. Her body shivered and her mind could not think of anything but the cold, as if ice had frozen her in place. Slowly, her senses began to return, and only when the crackle of a small fire could be heard and felt did she relax. Her heavy eyes opened narrowly, watching the blurred movements of the amber sparks in front of her. Their dim glowing air patterns danced before her before rising up into the air and disappearing in the small plume of grey smoke. A figure poked at the smoldering wood, keeping it alive and preventing the w

#82) How long do you think "Friendship is Magic" will last for? What is a good amount of seasons? Honestly, I want it to go on until at least Season 8.
Answer: Season 8 is a stretch. This is really a two-part question. The first part is about how long I realistically think that the show will last, based on speculation and circumstantial evidence. The second is about how long I personally believe the show should last, which is a different matter altogether.
To engage with the first part, we know that the show at least has in front of it another 13 episodes. After that, more might be made, or the show may maintain its success based on repeats. I can't predict when the show will end exactly, but it's pretty much a given that when Hasbro update the toy-line again, the show will be replaced. It's impossible to talk about "Friendship is Magic" without discussing it directly in parallel to the toys, as they both run off of each other and help to sustain one another. There

Gorgeous hues of red and orange bled into deep violet as the sun set on the horizon. All across Equestria, ponies would be winding down, some enjoying the sight with their special somepony. Luna however paid no mind to the view, instead engrossing herself into her study. If it wasn’t for the final reading light fading from the sky, she might never have noticed it was time for her to raise the moon. Catching up on one thousand years of history and culture didn’t happen overnight, and at this rate Luna thought it might take another one thousand years.
Luna looked down at the infuriatingly fine print, squinting to try and discern any of the letters. But it was no use; she tossed a loose sheet of parchment in the pages to track her place. She walked over to the balcony, telekinetically opening the doors and sidestepping around her telescope. Taking hold of the energy of the moon as she must have done at least a thousand times since she returned to the castle, she focused

Luna was walking through the halls to go into Celestia's room, to change the next person, but as she went to the white alicorns door, she heard her sister talking to Canterlot's captain of the guard, Shining Armor.
"But Princess Celestia to make copies of them it will take a huge amount of magic, and even then there is almost no chance of success,"
"I am aware of that Shining Armor, but we must try, for the good of Earth,"
"I understand Princess Celestia,"
"That's good to hear, you can go back to your duties,"
Shining Armor opened the door and almost bumped into the black alicorn.
"My apologize Princess Luna,"
Luna told Shining Armor that it was okay and went in

No matter how foolish,
Or insane they seem...
Chase your dreams.
Never stop running.
Don't let anything
Impede your progress.
Are your eternal goals.
No matter the obstacles,
No matter what happens...
Your dreams are eternal.
Continue the chase,
Never again will you be lonely.
Never again will you suffer.
You may lose your glitter,
But you will never
Lose your sparkle.
Always chase your dreams,
Because no matter what they seem...
If you live your dreams,
Never again will you be lonely.
Airshipping Is MagicThe morning air was crisp and cool with barely a breeze blowing. The sky was crystal blue, and the rays of the sun played lazily across the green countryside. The little purple sparkly blimp slowly rose into the air, enjoying the wind as it played across her surface. Her propellers spun into life as she turned in a westerly direction, the fluted spire that jutted out from her control deck pointing the way.
Twilight wasn't a big blimp. Her gasbag was large but stubby, her fins small and protruding, and her purple gondola cabin was slung almost apologetically underneath. Growing up as a little balloon in the big city she had always been jealous of the other airships, who always seemed to be more graceful than she. But soon study had paid off.
Today, she was on an important mission. Today she had to ferry vital medical aid across Airquestria. A hailstorm had hit the town of Hull, and puncture repair kits were urgently needed.

Chapter II: "The Welcome Wagon Comes to Town"
Written by Diane N. Tran
For the first time in her mail-mare career, the pegasus named Derpy Hooves was late in a delivery. That delivery consisted of one single, solitary letter to be dropped off at the very last residence of her rounds, Ponyville's Old Clock Tower. When she arrived at the building, she was, of course, as punctual as ever, but the mail-box was still missing from the lawn and she didn't have the courage to knock on the door again.
Dressed in her saddlebags, pacing back and forth, she was at a loss of what to do at the moment, so she paced some more. If she left it on the doorstep, the wind could blow it away. If she slipped it underneath the doormat, it might not be seen. Then a thought came to her, perhaps she could squeeze the letter between the cracks of the door.
Placing the letter between he

"You see, it all comes down to reliability."
"Reliability." A chipper, analytical voice was just audible over the singing of birds, the wind whistling through grass and trees, and the playing of several small ponies. While those ponies enjoyed the spring day, however, a white unicorn filly was deep in thought--and thus, in her element.
"The best part about numbers is that once you put them together and perform the necessary operations, you never have to wonder about whether the answer you get is wrong now, or will be wrong in the future." The lecturing filly scribbled numbers and symbols in a notebook as she spoke, then laid the book out on a wooden yard table for three of her other classmates to see. "Unless, you know, you screwed up the operations to begin with. So, uh, let's not do that."
She chuckled. Nopony else did. It was all right. They were busy deciphering her notes, after all. Once she saw them nod their heads, she asked, "Things make more se

A delicate red eyebrow arched at his statement of lies and that made Xull’rae smile in a flirtatious manner, “Me lie? Truly. . . you must be thinking of some other vile drowess . . .”
She approached the half drow slowly, like a stalking hunter. Xull’rae was completely fixated on Grey. The chill air was not felt, the festivities decorations were not seen, the music and excited chatter all around her was not heard.

It upsets my stomach." He chuckled a little at those words, hiding the morbidity of it all behind his usual humor. He took the bag tightly in his hands and placed it beside him, tempting her to sit with him.

I suspected that perhaps Celestia has a huge supply of dragon eggs, perhaps taken as part of a dragon adoption programs, but if we think about it, there are no more civilized dragons besides Spike. Think about it, how come Spike is the only dragon who is assimilated into pony society, why isn’t there an entire class of dragons who are assimilated into pony civilization? Specifically, we know from secret of my excess that Ponies know next to nothing about dragon anatomy and culture. There clearly exist obviously assimilated donkeys, mules, and griffins that are seen as subjects of Celestia. However, we see from “Dragon Quest” that the dragons do not consider themselves subjects of Princess Celestia, when Spike coughs up

The day's seemed to be going by quickly for John. Even more so than the usual long periods of blank thought. The most 'memorable' part of the day, if you could call it that would be the time that he would be in the shop with Drethan. Somehow, he could understand more when Drethan was around him than when he was with anyone else. It was almost as if he had this kind of influence on him. Not bad, perse but just...rejuvenating.
Every day he started with what was quickly becoming a very painful routine. The balance bars in his apartment. Though he had a hard time balancing, eventually he could make it to the other side, despite the amount of times he would fall during the attempt. This thirty minute physical therapy would leave his body sweat soaked and tired. It was amazing how hard just lifting ones body was, let alone move the entire weight a few yards while balancing on those two hands.
At least he was able to do something with his body. The repetitive t
