A castle rises out of the pages of this book sculpture. Complete with turrets, gate house, keep and buildings within the castle gates, this sculpture is fit for any royal family. The book used is "The Kingdom Within".

Not modeled from any castle in particular, just my favorite parts of photos I searched. I'm 99% certain this book has nothing at all to do with a castle, but I read the title and ran with the first idea that came to me.

Sinbad's ship sails through this book sculpture. The book used is a 1947 edition of "Tales of Adventure", featuring Sinbad's fifth voyage as he meets with the Rocs. The ship has been modeled after illustrations found in the story.

SOLD

Side note, yes, I'm very aware this is very close to my original pirate ship. But, that first one got a lot of attention and sold very quickly to a friend, so I figured I'd give it another go. I've tried to keep true to the story with the design of the ship and not go too "piratey".

These go along with the Wizard Of Oz book sculpture. They were a commission piece. Originally, the client only wanted the slippers done, but I went a little crazy and did a whole scene. But, as promised, did the slippers as well.

Flowers are beautiful, but they don't last forever. Give a gift that will stand the test of time with this beautiful book sculpture. The vase is carved using one complete book. The roses and lilies use the same book and are assembled petal by petal. This vase has seven roses with lilies and "greens" filling in. It stands 14 inches tall. The book used is a collection on short stories called "School Days" published in 1947.

This piece is sold, but I'd be happy to make another for you. Typical work time is about one week plus shipping.

This wreath is about 20 inches round. It is made from the pages of a hymnal from the 1800's.

The pages are fixed to a light weight foam board backing with attached hanging hook. The whole wreath weighs less than 1.5 pounds. Because of the age and free standing position of the pages, this wreath is fragile. It is finished with a UV coating to protect it from sun and moisture, but I would not suggest hanging it outside.

Special pricing will be made if purchasing the trio.

The Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria approach the American coast in this book sculpture. The three ships fight the choppy waves as Columbus stands on deck. Natives sit on the shore line. The book used is "A Book of Famous Explorers", 1947.

You probably can't see it from the photo, but these are some of the most detailed ships I've ever done. There's wire in the masts, so they're extra sturdy. There is also a bit of quilling around the bow of the two larger ships. Finished with a UV gloss spray to protect against moisture and time.

The book's black cover and bright white pages make the heart stand out and is easily matched to any decor. A perfect gift for any music lover or music teacher.

In this book sculpture we catch Pandora just as she opens the forbidden box. One LED light shines out of the box. A on/off switch is also hidden inside with battery pack access under the book. Book altered is "A Book of Myths and Legends" published 1947.
