A castle rises out of the pages of this book sculpture. Complete with turrets, gate house, keep and buildings within the castle gates, this sculpture is fit for any royal family. The book used is "The Kingdom Within".

Not modeled from any castle in particular, just my favorite parts of photos I searched. I'm 99% certain this book has nothing at all to do with a castle, but I read the title and ran with the first idea that came to me.

These go along with the Wizard Of Oz book sculpture. They were a commission piece. Originally, the client only wanted the slippers done, but I went a little crazy and did a whole scene. But, as promised, did the slippers as well.

This wreath is about 20 inches round. It is made from the pages of a hymnal from the 1800's.

The pages are fixed to a light weight foam board backing with attached hanging hook. The whole wreath weighs less than 1.5 pounds. Because of the age and free standing position of the pages, this wreath is fragile. It is finished with a UV coating to protect it from sun and moisture, but I would not suggest hanging it outside.

Special pricing will be made if purchasing the trio.

Flowers are beautiful, but they don't last forever. Give a gift that will stand the test of time with this beautiful book sculpture. The vase is carved using one complete book. The roses and lilies use the same book and are assembled petal by petal. This vase has seven roses with lilies and "greens" filling in. It stands 14 inches tall. The book used is a collection on short stories called "School Days" published in 1947.

This piece is sold, but I'd be happy to make another for you. Typical work time is about one week plus shipping.

Commissioned project. My client was wonderful and sent me a book to use. It was a collection of three Star Wars books in one. The ship ended up being a bit larger than I originally planned, so it was nice to have that thicker book to offset the ship and provide a little it more stability. And, if he ever gets tired of having the book laying on a shelf, the ship looked really cool by itself. He could always snip the wires and hang it over his bookshelf.

The ship is attached in five places to the book with wire. The wings are wired through the body of the book, which has a cardboard core to hold its shape. The laser cannons are also wired.

This piece is taken, but commissions are open. Contact me on DA or at wetcanvas.jb@gmail.com for info or visit my shop: www.etsy.com/shop/wetcanvasart

Sinbad's ship sails through this book sculpture. The book used is a 1947 edition of "Tales of Adventure", featuring Sinbad's fifth voyage as he meets with the Rocs. The ship has been modeled after illustrations found in the story.

SOLD

Side note, yes, I'm very aware this is very close to my original pirate ship. But, that first one got a lot of attention and sold very quickly to a friend, so I figured I'd give it another go. I've tried to keep true to the story with the design of the ship and not go too "piratey".
