Thank you MajorGeneralWhiskers! It was about time to brainwash those humans! Unfortunately I'm human as well and I can't even start to describe how embarassed of this fact I feel. My feline soul can't wait for the total integration with You, our overlords! :icongrin--plz:

So when I read the following journal:
A Message From Your Feline Overlords

I knew that I wanted to participate! I love cats, and I love badges! Plus, you don't get a lot of opportunities to get badges, so heck yes I was in. But what to make...

Then I remembered an only art project where you could make bubble letters, and sketch over the whole thing with a grid, and color it so no two colors were ever touching and thus see the letters! And I said, hey, I just saw this great tutorial on fractaling:

Let's give it a try!

So I made my fractal based off that tutorial. I definitely have not mastered it yet. Then, using CorelDraw I made a cat outline. Sorry to all you Illustrator lovers, when it comes to making a vector I am a Corel girl. I exported my design as a Photoshop file, opened Photoshop, and made my combinations!

I actually only drew one cat though. The smaller felines are duplicated layers that I then scaled down and moved left.

Personally, I enjoy the subtle effect created. I think it's just a nice touch to go with this kind of fractal. I hope that you enjoy as well!

Perhaps I will make more artwork like this.

Entire fractal piece was done with Apophysis 7x which you can get here: apophysis.xyrus-worx.org/#grab In order to use the plugins necessary though, make sure you get the 32 bit version. Plugins do not work in the 64 bit environment. I struggled for an hour with that before I read the FAQ and realized my blunder! D:

The cats were created in CorelDraw x4

The cats were added in Photoshop CS5

All artwork belongs to me. Please don't be a thief! ;)
