Happy Love Day to all my watchers and those who come across this picture!! I might clean/fix it up more later. But for now here is my Love Day pic for God and for all of you~
The rose petals symbolize the blood that God shed for us through Christ Jesus, out of His undying love for the world. Hence why Adriel points his eyes up to the heavens. This day is to serve as a wonderful reminder to us that not all love is romantic. In fact, the greatest love of all is the love that comes from God, an unfailing, selfless, self-sacrificial love (agape)--also known as Charity (or Benevolence).
[Insert bible verses about love here] "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends." (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13)
"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." (1 John 4:7-8)
"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because He first loved us." (1 John 4:18-19)
"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth." (1 John 3:16-18)
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
Got the hair finished on the bust. I know this is starting to sound repetitive, but I REALLY cannot believe how I made this. It's pretty remarkable. I really want to keep this one, but I have someone already interested in it.
I'll have some more angles up soon of the bust. Bust is made of resin, painted, sculpted and constructed by me, Godaiking.
I'm only doing 25 of these. If anyone's interested, drop me a note or email me at hagane74 @ hotmail. com.
The Vaquita is a small Porpoise that lives in the Gulf of California. it is estimated that only between 150 to 240 indivuduals remain. but probably less since the mortality rate in fishing nets per year is 39.
feel free to share this repost re-blog, put it on facebook. just don't change anything.
