A Crystal King drabble
Panic spread across the Crystal Kingdom, as fire melted the once beautiful land. The kind of all Koopa's had sent his army to persuade the ruler to join his side. All of his Koopa army was setting the kingdom a blaze. Bowser floated high above the kingdom watching the once sparkling buildings become puddles of nothing. The crystal people ran in every direction screaming as their homes became nothing. The Koopa King waited patiently for the creature he was truly after.
The people of the land ran for their lives as the fire began to surround them from all sides. Then like clockwork there was a sudden gust of cold wind, and some of the fire was put out. Holding the berry in my fingers, I recognise it. Nightlock. If I eat it, certain death. There is no going back. But if I throw it away, perhaps Peeta and Katniss will feast on it, not knowing of the consequences. With them gone, myself and Cato would be left. Would I have a chance of winning? I doubt it.
What are my options then? The choices I have to chose from. Die, at the hands of Cato in some bloody and brutal way to please the audience, in the final showdown in the Hunger Games. I couldn't win. Not against him. There would be no chance for me.

"I believe that I understand enough of their language to be able to interpret and, if need be, soothe them." Uhura interrupted.
Jim raised an eyebrow but did not argue. "All we need, is to get the message of a peace treaty through to them. The only reason we are only going down there with three people is that we need to show them that we mean no harm."
"By showing them we are weak? I do not think that is wise." Spock replied.
The doors slid out, and they emerged into the shuttle docking area.
"Aye there sir. The shuttle is ready for launch, if you would follow me.
