Witnesses describe it as an oily-black creature with either very stunted legs or an actual fish-tail. It strides around on abnormally long arms.

You see, I have this theory...about ascending to God-tier. Basically we all know the deal with the quest beds/ quest cocoons. But what about the crypt beds/cocoons? Mr. Hussie has been very vague on this fact only saying how they appear to work. And they may work in the way he has stated. But what if ( here comes the theory) the only requirement for the crypt beds to work is a dream self on it( dead or dying) when the awake self has died. The reason I say this is a crypt is no place of a sleeping person. A crypt by definition is a place of the dead. We only know so little about this second method of ascension past the echelader. And have only seen three instances of it; Rose, Dave, and Aradia. All of these only have one thing in common: the awake self had died and they were on the crypt beds. Dave and Rose's dreamselves died on the crypt beds. Aradia is the oddball though. Was her dreamself really alive just permanently sleeping on the crypt in the center of Derse because she did not belong with the other dreamselvYou see, I have this theory...3 years ago in Personal More Like This

If it doesn't break any rules, I'll approve of it and it's all yours!
Also, once it's yours, don't forget to put it under the "Foodlie" tag!
*Please read the Foodlie Info sheet before making a Foodlie!*
- NO 2ND EVOLUTION FOODLIES! Just normal Foodlies for this please.

Hello everyone! Sorry this journal is a bit late but I am now opening this contest! So it was a pretty unanimous vote for :iconKaedeshiuta:'s contest theme idea, Deck of Cards. Although what we decided to do with it is a little different than your original idea.

Starts: Now! Ends: July 30th
1. You must be a member to participate.
2. Entry must be submitted to the gallery folder 'Deck of Cards' or it will not be counted.

The latest graphic tablets (now affordable for most anyone,) matched with the latest high-definition screens (displaying billions of colors,) connected to the latest computers (whose size are measured in inches and not feet,) all to render work near instantaneously. It's hard to imagine that with what we have today, publishers and artists were using these same types of devices as much as 40 years ago to set type, scan images, or even draw pictures.
So if you were an artist in the late 1970's, what would it have been like?
Well, click here (or above) to watch a video to get a bit of an idea.
If that's anything to go by, straight-up drawing was still a little out of reach. But you could scan drawings, save them, view them on a screen, scale them,
Losing Altitude: A Very Birdy BookGather 'round, my bird and bird-admiring friends!Losing Altitude: A Very Birdy Book3 years ago in Personal More Like This
If you've spent any amount of time in my gallery, I'm sure you have guessed by now that I am passionate about birds. I have been since I was a toddler-- literally-- and saving birds through awareness has always been a goal of mine. It's one reason I am honored to announce that my work along with the work of many other very talented artists are going to be featured in a book called "Losing Altitude". It is an art book, showcasing endangered bird species that need help. One of the biggest hurdles facing endangered birds and steps to help them is awareness-- it's true that we are often bombarded with imagery of more charismatic, well-known animals such as leopards, tigers, and pandas. All of them are very deserving of our help, but birds are also facing some serious issues and not many people know about it.
That's one reason a book like this is pretty awesome. The more well known the book gets, the better the chances that people will see--

Anthony Holden is a professional artist/animator in the US and is just plain fun. His work is light-hearted, charming, and full of character. He's a dad alongside his professional art career, so he does a lot of "life journal" style illustrations and comics (usually animated) about recent life events or happenings along the way. Elsewhere, his work just makes me smile and laugh.

There I said it. Then onto other, more exciting things!
I think maybe I ought to have told you b4, but this winter I actually published my first book! I made it 2gether with my kool comic bro Øystein Runde, and it's about our adventures as official guests at a comics festival in Russia in the spring of 2013. It's called Moskva (Moscow), and is eh some 80 pages long. Phew. Making the book was krazy and spontanious, and I didnt really realize that I was making a book before maybe two months before we sent it to the printingpeeps. But yup, it was an amazing experience, and I'm quite proud of it. For me it was important to make this book, because it's a memoar of my wonderful experiences in moscow, which was honestly prbly one of the best experiences of my life. Blabla. Mm, the comic is sadly only avalable in norwegian, but we're hoping to publish it in english sometime. In the meanwhile you can check out these fun articles about it (also in norwegian heuheu but with sweet an

Maybe some of you saw this, but I made this fake imdb page for a Marauders BBC show and posted it on tumblr. It was just supposed to be a joke/fantasy, but apparently a lot of people bought it
(You'll notice there are lots of things that give it away, however)
But maybe one day, if we badger enough producers, it will be a reality

Spent about an hour yesterday walking to group after school with two friends- one friend being the guy that I really like- but they just kept talking to each other the entire time and my once ecstatic mood turned into something that if the word monotone were an emotion then that would be very fitting. Just this sad, quite, passive, kind of emotion I guess. For example, "I could cry in front of you and you would neither notice or do anything" moments.
But it all ended up with me going off into a separate room in the church once we finally got there and just keeled over and cried for awhile, my tears thought it was an awesome idea to get in my hair and later I found a purple streak going down my face from my scalp OTL. But ye

1. Don't stop to help out any harmless-looking half-naked dudes randomly wandering the wilderness.
2. Don't do that.
3. Seriously, why did you fall for such an obvious trap, Alicia?
I was being my cool, heroic self when I happened to notice a group of half-naked guys. Obviously, I was...concerned...for the gentlemen, as they were fist-fighting a very mean-looking Bristleback...without any shirts on or anything. So, I says to Arvak, "Hey Arvak, let's pull over and give those nice gentlemen a hand. I do not have anything else in mind. Of course. I mean, if they choose to thank me in whatever manner they wish afterwards, that is totally fine with me. You know. I would never have any other motivations for this whatsoever. Definitely. Yes. Let us go to them."

Except instead of rocks, they were bear teeth.
Also, instead of a ship, it was my body.

Observe Your Idols
We all have that one person, or those 50 people on DA who make us feel like our art is mediocre. You have to remember that those artists were once in your position, admiring other incredible artists. Have a couple artists you really really like and try to learn from them. Now I don't mean copy their styles and trace their work, but try some of their techniques or use their art as inspiration. (In my opinion, copying and tracing is how we start drawing but we don't share this with the public. Copy and trace only when you practice!) If you are fairly new to DA, you can browse the popular page, or c

yeah ... me right now Q___Q
I remember doing this before to someone...
(whenever i have a fear of losing someone i love ....i over think everything i say... i act really awkward around them... i can't seem to talk to them without saying something dumb... just a whole self-destructive mess i turn into.
anyone know what i'm talking about?
if you do know what i'm talking about.. how did you get past it?
I have gotten past it before, just need to relax and open up to them again. Re-think the whole relatioship with the person and find some solid ground.
(i guess tell the person your feeling that way too... that helps.. you don't want them to not want to be around you or think that your changing when really your just confused.)
AUGH I'M SO CONFUSED.
Just over alot of things.... I need to get everything sorted out before i can be sane again.

You sat in a chair, slightly hunched over as you tuned your guitar the way you liked it. You were the lead guitarist in school's band. Tonight was the concert, well a school contest for the choir, school bands, or even the normal band like in music videos or like in rock band. Well in AlternianHigh, they had only a band of 5. Lead Guitarist, Second Guitarist, Bassist, Drums, Singer, and a little bit of keyboard/turn tables. That actually made up six, but keyboard/turntables was only a back-up plan when need in for certain parts. Cronus sat upon the piano bench, testing out the new strings he had gotten for his guitar. The bass player, Jade, was at the dentist, You liked how she was able to keep a hold on the heavy bass. Some girls wouldn't be able to hold one, well you should've known that Jade was raised differntly than any normal human female. She was raised by a single father who techially raised her as if she was a boy. So meh. Suprise! Sh

Helping you with names arrangement~ (MY)Lemme teach you something about Malay (mostly Muslims) names arrangements and how to not confuse with English/American/Chinese/Japanese kinds of names arrangement ^q^ I make it easy for you to learn~~Helping you with names arrangement~ (MY)2 years ago in Personal More Like This
First of all, Malay names (accurately lets say Muslim names) don't have surnames.
Example : No LEEs or no CHONGs or UZUMAKIs or UCHIHAs or maybe WILLIAMs or POTTERs
Muslims don't use surnames instead, they use their father's name ^^
But before putting the father's name, you should put bin or binti means 'son of' and 'daughter of' respectively.
Okay lets give an easy example :-
Ali bin Ahmad.
--- This means that person named Ali. and he is the son of Ahmad (father). Got it now?
Let's try female:-
Maimun binti Rosli
--- This means the lady named Maimun. and she is the daughter of Rosli (father). Easy rite? :iconmingflailplz:
Thus, for easiest example, Osama bin Laden. NO OFFENSE, JUS

From the clothesline strung across the backyard, to the college dorm laundry rooms, to the inner city all-night Laundromats, we all have our memories that begin with helping Mom with Laundry Day, that task that soon became ours alone upon taking flight from the family nest. Laundry day can evoke warm memories of family unity, or cold memories of aching separation and loneliness, the softness of a stack of fresh towels or the hardness of city sidewalks, depending on the time in you life you are remembering. Here is a collection of deviations evoking the full range of Laundry Day duality.
