The Angelic LightCherubs
"The darkness never passed
The shadow never faded.
Your grave-stone aghast,
The day I have dreaded.
You left me far too early,
I wasn't quite prepared.
My feelings hidden surely
Of once I never cared.
Your fate, you will fulfil,
As mine will soon be due.
Oh, What I'd do, and how'll I will,
Just to cuddle you.
You can see it in my eyes,
You can read it on my face,
Trapped inside are lies,
Of the past I can't replace.
The world we know is gone.
Awoke a new dawn;
The universe rephrased.
But even as you go,
Your spirit soon shall see;
'Cause I'm about to show
How much you meant to me.
The universe can rot;
The sun can lose its flame.
Its power over-shot;
But our love remains the same."
I'm done with the sorrow and stress,
Today my life is due.
But in my heart, I am at rest,
At last, I'll be with you!
You turned to me, and smiled,
We drew one passionate kiss.
I felt my heart just thumping wild,
To be with the one I missed!

GalaxyTake my hand, and follow me through the garden of stars,Galaxy3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Towards the nebulas, and galaxies afar.
Lead me down the path of eternity,
Down into heaven's city.
Your love is like a flower blooming still,
Yet nothing you say is nothing you feel.
The thorn twisted deep into your side,
The last flicker of hope inside me died.
A firefly in the embers of dusk,
The silver grating of an elephant tusk.
The sparkle of glitter over my eye,
Twinkling, Glittering, like a firefly.
That spark you ignite as we go along,
The emotion in this sweet-sounding song.
The glow of your eyes as you turn to me,
Is enough to melt the galaxy.
Eternity of evening sky,
If I left, would you cry?
If I died, would you scream?
Would I be living in your dreams?
Heart when shattered
Heaved to heal
When faith had mattered,
When love was real.
In a marble world, I make my way,
Past the floors and walls of clay,
Laughter lightens up my face,
As I sigh, and tell myself,
Life is not a race.
But life IS, yet, a marathon,
SilentWhen the world comes to an end, and humanity becomes corrupt with power, greed and envy.Silent2 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
When all things most precious to you is ripped apart and torn before your very eyes.
When the only thing that you can hear is the sounds of guns, bombs, and screams day in, day out.
Remember this my friends...
Only the silent survive.
ChoiceI believe in Humanity. I don't believe in god, or the devil. No, humanity is what I believe in.Choice2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
From birth, we are a clean slate, a untouched record, a fresh piece of cloth.
But humanity, life, experience, it changes that.
It can either scrap the slate with scraps, damage the record, make it unreadable, unplayable or tear the cloth, stain it with blood and tears.
Or, it can write on the slate the most majestic and beautiful words known to man, record the most harmonic melody the ears have known, or tend to the cloth, to make it feel like water.
Humanity shapes us, and we shape it. No-one is born a monster, they are created.
With every crime and with every kindness, we birth our future.
To become either the hero or the villain, it all depends on our experience, our minds, our humanity.
We have a chance to become great, and you can, it all depends on how you view great.
Great evil, or great good.
It's your choice. Whatever you choose, be weary, it may shape humanity forever.
A Wonderer...A Wonderer...A Wonderer...2 years ago in Sci-Fi More Like This
I've seen him, he's like fire and ice and rage.
He's like the night, the storm and the heart of the sun....
I know a man, a lonely man. A wonderer. He wonders, travels, throughout time and space. He goes wherever he chooses, wherever he feels.
Sometimes he winds up places that he never indented to go.
And sometimes, he never lands at all.
He wonders along time and space in a little blue box. The TARDIS he calls it.
If you look closely at the stars you can sometimes see it, floating by.
It's his home... Sometimes, it's all he has left.
A thing that looks like a police box standing in a junk yard
It can move anywhere in time and space...
But the thing is, no matter where he goes, no matter how far he runs
Trouble will always find him... Or sometimes the over way round.
He has fought so many monsters that he has probably lost count.
So many enemies... So many battles.
Not all of them have been won, but he always manages to set things right. In the end.
Fear in the darknessFear, what is it we fear? What even is fear?Fear in the darkness2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
For children is the monster under the bed, with sharp claws and eyes glowing red? Or is the boogey man that lurks in their wardrobe.
For teenagers, is it the haunted house at the end of street, with broken windows and walls? Or is the ghost under the stairs that screams every night, piercing the ears.
For adults, is it the figure at the end of the street, always staring at them, always watching them? Or is the silence in the dead if the night, lurking in every corner, never leaving them. Always there.
What ever it is, it is all fear. But one thing we all fear, one thing that sends shivers down our spine.
Some say it’s an irrational fear we all have, but it’s not irrational. No. Its far more then that.
You see it is not the darkness itself that scares us, it’s what’s IN it that makes us tremble with fear. You don’t quite know what’s in there, but you see something out of the corner of your eye
