A certain pegasus flew back into Ponyville to find the entire town completely deserted. She flew all around, obviously checking the homes of her friends. Twilight’s Golden Oaks Library was all books and no ponies, every dessert in Sugarcube Corner was left untouched by Pinkie Pie, Sweet Apple Acres had no work of Applejack’s done, the Carousel Boutique had no Rarity for all those dresses, and Fluttershy’s cottage didn’t have a single living thing even living there.
Once Rainbow Dash checked everywhere else, she did find one caped figure standing in front of the town square. Next to the figure was a life sized statue of Rainbow Dash, but it was wearing a helmet, a red cape with a golden zipper, red strap on and a cloud making a yellow lightning bolt on it, and four golden gauntlets with tiny white wings for each hoof of the statue. The helmet and gauntlets were rainbow colored and had golden coverings to assure they were made of metal.
Once she flew close enough,

Shining stared up at the oak door that towered above him. It was a normal door, no different than a typical door one would find inside a house. But given the contents stored away behind it, it had an unusually grand feel to it, and Shining couldn't help but feel dwarfed in its shadow.
The old grandfather clock down the hall let out twelve loud booms.
It was noon. The high sun's rays shone through a nearby window and across Shining's stationary, white frame. It warmed his fur while he kept his blue eyes locked on the door.
His parents always said how the attic held an eclectic assortment of things, from old music records to hardcover books that hadn't been opened since his grandparents lived in the house a decade before.
Shining imagined his deceased grandfather, the stallion with the amputated hoof and a pair of wild, yet kind, eyes. Shining imagined his still-alive grandmother, the sweet mare that would always have a batch of cookies at her house for him and

The Crystal Empire was slowly becoming engulfed in a mass of threatening, black clouds; dark as the deadliest of storms. Screams could be heard all around as the crystal ponies began to panic. Up in the tallest tower in the city, Twilight found herself trapped within the confines of a black-crystal prison, the gems risen up from the ground, blocking any means of escape for the lavender unicorn. Just outside, Spike started to feel nervous. His eyes darted from side to side, his feet moved up and down like two, small pistons.
Twilight started to scramble within the crystal-walled trap, looking for the Crystal Heart with a set of panicked eyes.

Snips and Snails were dripping sweat as they struggled to drag along the heavy wooden cart that dug into the ground. The cart plowed up the dirt and left a sizable trench in its wake. They looked at one another, tired and worn out from pulling the new tyrant of ponyville to the edge of the forcefield. They stopped for a moment to take a quick break. As soon as they had stopped, a glowing red whip snapped at their backsides from mid-air.
"Pull you fools!" the whip snapped it at them twice more. "Somepony set off the magic forcefield and Trixie intends to punish them!" shouted Trixie as she prepared to whip her subjects once more for good measure. She did not have to go through with the final whip, as the two simpletons had begun to move twice as fast as they previously were. Snips craned his head back towards the unrelenting whip wielder.
"But wouldn't it be faster if we had some wheels?" he asked nervously, his voice higher than usual.
Trixie's head snapped up and he

My heart in learning of arts
To be a costumer of lives
An artisan graceful
Needles and threads my swords and shields
My armors made of the finest silks
I had a talent to craft
An eye to match
With a young ambition:
Make dresses of princess' worth
Sew suits fit for a prince
But still my skills were lacking
The final touch to fulfill my art
In evening's dim it flickered:
Spell evoked from the heart
With magic's guide I started
The journey to the unknown
"Come rain or snow or choking drought
I won't turn away!
I'm on my way to find out
My destiny's call, what I yearn for "
Followed the path for my fate
For what lies beyond the far horizon
My spell led me across the land
Through forests, rivers and hills
Came night, faded daylight
But magic sign still sho

"...and that, Spike, is the official meaning of life," said Twilight Sparkle as they walked along one of Ponyville's roads.
"Whoa, Twilight," said Spike, his voice laced with awe. "Really?"
"Really really!" said Twilight, smiling with pride. "At least, as applied to bunnies. Ponies and dragons are a teensy bit more complicated, so our answers will take me a lot longer to come up with. Probably years!"
"Well, I'll help you find them however I can." Spike chuckled. "Though somehow, I don't think Angel will be all that pleased with your findings..."
"Oh, wow, good point. Well, maybe Fluttershy can talk him dow-" Twilight paused, thought about the possibility for a few seconds, then said, "You know what, you're right. Let's just not tell him. He seems to have fun with his life--if all of a sudden we tell him that he actually has no true free w

"Ouch!" Twilight yelped, her whole body flinching at the sudden jab in her flank.
"Well, perhaps if you weren't moving around so much..." Rarity muttered. She continued to carefully insert the pins into the folds of white fabric draped across Twilight's back. "I've done dozens of wedding dresses, and I can't recall anypony who was quite so twitchy."
"Sorry.." Twilight mumbled, trotting slowly in place despite Rarity's comment. "It's just that there's so much I have to do to get ready. I have to meet Applejack at Sugarcube Corner this afternoon to sample cakes, and then we have to go see Fluttershy to decide what music we want to use, and then I have to talk to the mare to make sure all the paperwork was done correctly-"

Twilight Sparkle gave a long sigh as she sat peering over a tall stack of books in her library home one day. She was bored. She had absolutely nothing planned and none of her usual books were keeping her attention. To make it even worse, Spike was off to Canterlot for a couple days again, so there wasn't even anyone to talk to. Not very long ago she would have relished the solitude as a chance to get some serious reading done, but after coming to Ponyville and making so many great friends now it just felt kind of lonely.
Still, she was sure she could find at least some book to keep her interested. There just had to be something. If the usual stuff wasn't working, maybe she just needed to look at something different, something she hadn't read before? This was a library after all; there were still a lot of books she had never read on a lot of topics she still didn't know anything about. Moving languidly to her shelves, Twi

Learning to Smile
I was a child of stones
A daughter of the rock farmers
No joy was known there
But gloom and endless working
Under the hot, blazing sun
The barren fields, all without green
Granites were our flowers
Our grass made of sand and gravel
I breathed the choking air on the wordless world
I walked on soil bare of seeds
In a poor family among rocks
A child was born with a bright mane
Pink coat in colorless home
Such a punchline in a grey world
Gathered rocks in silence
Aching hooves our pay for a hard work
Dust on my eyes and throat
I dreamed of world out of my life
I breathed the choking air on the wordless world
I walked on soil bare of seeds
Throughout the days I gazed repressed at hollow skies
A solace for indifference
The tremor passed over our farm
Sharing A BlanketIt was a cold night, one that I will always remember. The stars twinkled off in the distance, making themselves visible in the beautiful night sky. I wasn’t able to observe most of the wonders of the outside world that night, as I was instead resting inside a small cottage, only able to base my observations out of what I could see through a window. As much as I loved to stargaze, such a thing did not occupy most of my thoughts during that night. I did, however, glance at the window every now and then, just to look for any constellations, an act which I quickly wore out, having found every one that occupied the sky that night.Sharing A Blanket2 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
No, stargazing was not an important thing that night, it was far from it. What was important however, was the pegasus who was cuddled up closely next to me. A single, warm blanket lay over the two of us, helping us keep ourselves from freezing. I lay next to her in silence, pressing closely against her side, and just enjoying her company. Pinkie Pie was grinning from ear to ear as she bounced excitedly in her room within Sugarcube Corner. Twilight Sparkle was taking her on a date. She had never been on a real date before, but it sounded super fun, especially since it was Twilight and she was such a great pony. Pinkie just couldn't wait.
Suddenly, Pinkie decided she was hungry. Her head bouncing from side to side, she left her room and went downstairs. She saw some tasty looking pink cupcakes resting on a tray on a table. She threw three of them in her mouth all at once and gulped them down with a smile. They were super delicious. Pinkie's whole body quivered as she enjoyed the amazing flavor.
"Enjoying yourself, Pinkie?" Mrs. Cake, who was standing nearby, asked with an awkward laugh as she watched the pink pony. Pinkie glanced at her.
"Yep, yep! These are super tasty!" Pinkie cheered, bouncing toward her caretaker.

Dear Twilight Sparkle,
My faithful student, I am surprised that you let Spike to write a letter to me. I'm very happy that he learn a lesson ever since your friend, Rarity learned hers back in Cloudsdale.
I also forgive him for his past actions like the time he sent a bunch of scrolls over me when I was busy reading one of my own. And I also didn't forget that time when he burned and delivered popcorn onto my bed when I was asleep. It was tasty but not at the right time when I'm not supposed to have a midnight snack, I just brushed too.
Anyway, how's the meteor shower which my sister demonstrated it to you & all of Ponyville back few nights ago? It is surprising that she haven't been putting up such a demonstration for a very long time since she was banished.
Lastly, I also bought a replacement copy of "Astronomical Astronomer's Almanac to All Things Astronomy", I bet the burned or torn pages I saw are coming from Spike which I got the feeling it must have been an accident. I hope you

It was going to be a perfectly normal day for Pinkie Pie; in other words, it was going to be anything but normal. Today was simply going to be a little freakier than normal.
She was happily bouncing towards Sweet Apple Acres, wondering what Applejack was doing. Hopefully nothing that was too much work, that would be boring! Although maybe she could make it less so... or maybe she could turn Applejack's work into a game! That would be so much fun! Of course, if Applejack wasn't doing anything, then she could have even more fun! But even if she didn't want to do anything with Pinkie, then maybe she could have an adventure with Apple Bloom and her friends! Oh that would be so much- twitchy tail!

"FOREVEEEER." Pinkie Pie burst out of the sponge bucket by her leg and glared daggers at Twilight. Rarity didn't seem to notice, having long since tuned out the pink pony's strangeness.
"Oh Pinkie Pie You are so random! And yet, you still follow a set of rules. True, they play fast and loose with the physics of your world, but you do still have them. You come out of left field, spout something strange but true, and disappear again, only to reappear in the next frame doing something nearly completely different. It's as if you're more enlightened than the average pony."

Fluttering Hearts Chapter 2 A cool wind rushed through the trees on a warm day at Sweet Apple Acres. There Big Macintosh could be found lying on his stomach, lazily chewing a few apples of his namesake, taking in the scenery around him. He seldom took the time to admire the land he called his home, since he was often working so hard. It was nice to gaze at the scenery for a moment while his mind dwelt on other matters. It had been two days since his night with Fluttershy. He'd had so much fun with her that night, and he'd hoped she did too. He wanted to talk with her again, but he couldn't decide if it was too soon or not. He'd often heard that mares appreciate a colt who doesn't rush things too much. My sight started to get worse but gladly my *home* was not far away. With the remaining power that was still in my weaken body I entered the wealthy building that was outstanding others that were surrounding it. As expected the servants were already asleep, what was a good thing because I would not like them to smell that odor. Slowly it started to become a very annoying burden for my sensitive senses. Fluttering Hearts Chapter 1 Fall is a special time of the year in Ponyville; the season of change as some ponies referred to it. Although most noticeably the change they're referring to would be the physical change of color that the leaves on the trees exhibit, there are also some more subtle, but nonetheless significant changes that occur throughout ponies lives this time of year. The peak of this season is marked by the annual Running of the Leaves competition, in which several ponies compete in a marathon designed to shake the leaves from the trees as a result of the force of everypony trampling the grounds at once as they run. However this year, there was another competition between two ponies that was slowly gaining more spectators. An Iron Pony competition between the down-to-earth pony apple farmer Applejack, and the head-in-the-Cloudsdale pegasus Rainbow Dash. The day was dreary and dark. The landscape devoid of lush life, replaced with jagged rock and twisted trees, branches like arms outstretched. The calm bluish-grey day hidden behind a veil of dark grey and thunder, yet neigh a drop of rain fell from the sky.
The lone figure of a pony hid behind one of the many trees, her face mostly hidden behind the black fabric of her outfit. Her orange eyes darting around. She was focused, determined to accomplish her mission.
"Now to find a way to sneak into the castle." The filly, Apple Bloom, muttered. Her country drawl clear even if her mouth was hidden behind the black fabric. She gazed up towards her destination. A large, gothic castle perched high atop the mountain, towers rising up to end in cone-like roofs. Fire
Lay Off Hasbro and Stop Sending Hate-MailIt should come as no great surprise that during the couple of years that the brony community has been growing, more and more people have been finding reasons to object to some of the decisions that Hasbro have chosen to make. One of the most well-known issues was the infamous 'Derpy' situation, where certain people actively sent hate-mail to Hasbro for 'altering' the Derpy Hooves character. Despite the entire fiasco being unsympathetic and diabolical the community overreaction was embarrassing, to say the least it did a lot to suggest that, when they feel scorned, some bronies can be vicious little bastards.Lay Off Hasbro and Stop Sending Hate-Mail2 years ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
Being made aware of the radical potential of bronies suggests that history may repeat itself should other changes be made that upset the brony status quo. People seem to forget that Hasbro have their own vested interest in making particular business decisions. Most are agreed upon by bronies, but a few are received poorly by the fandom. But Hasbro's choices are made w
