A Cake for Cherry is my senior thesis at Emily Carr University of Art and Design (2011) and my very first film.

I've never spent so much time on a project before. Took me 8 months from start to finish. Loads of blood and sweat went into this project. It was a huge learning experience and I literally went crazy (and paranoid)! XD There are a lot of things that I want to modify, change and improve in the film (like timing, pacing, shots, animation... etc.), but I did my best.

Even if I'm not truly satisfied with the outcome (there are a lot of things that I hate/love about it)... I have to move on and create new art!

Special Thanks to my family and friends for supporting me and helping me make this film possible! Without you guys, I don't think I would've survived.

Enough with my blabbering, hope you enjoy!!

Programs used: Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe After Effects CS5, Adobe Premier CS5

When the first of caterpillars discovers the first obsession of the first stars, the Nature of things changes forever more..

<3 I am finally able to upload it here.

Primoris Lepidoptera is essentially a learning curve of my three years at the animation department in the Estonian Academy of Arts. When I begun work on it, my skills were still fairly raw and unrefined, but gradually they became better bit by bit in both animation, timing and workflow/planning.

I don't consider it masterful, there's certainly a lot of parts to improve upon, but for what it is (a manner of visual progress in skill), it works.

The story itself is in essence a creation myth.

The music is by Miika Mettiäinen ("Sparrow (Piano)") and can be found here: [link]

EDIT: Holy muffins! o: First ever DD! <3

EDIT2: By a slightly small demand, links to moar Primoris things:

At last here is my first animation, Han&Gree, based on the traditional tale "Hansel and Gretel."

I am very proud of it because when I started I didn't know anything about animation and I learned everything by myself, and I think the result is quite good. However, I think that I need to improve a lot, so probably I will continue doing animations from time to time because I liked the experience.

I hope you like it! :)
Comments and opinions are welcome!

Maybe in Youtube you can see it with more quality, so here is the link: [link]

EDIT: Woooooooow! When I saw the amount of feedback messages I didn't believe it! I thought it would be wrong on DA! xDDDD
Thank you for the Daily Deviation, I didn't expect it! And many thanks to all who have commented, seriously!
I'm soooo happy!

Death comes to claim a little ghost girl. (He's not great with kids.)

Shadows is my senior film at MCAD, a one-person labor of love that took about a year to complete. It's a piece that draws on my own experiences in working with kids; how it can be both frustrating and fun.

A special thanks goes to my family for supporting me, my friends for encouraging me, my teachers for making me get my rear in gear, and the kids of cabin five for inspiring me. You guys are awesome.

Created with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.
