Back to it...'Sup People.
I've read in a few journals that a lot of you are having the occasional "Artist's Block". Ya' know... where you stare at a blank sheet of paper for hours and nothing comes out. It happens. I don't know an artist who hasn't went through it. Some more than others.
Anywho, I'd like to share with you, my friends, what helps me get through it and get that pencil moving again.
1.A.) Grab a magazine with pretty girls in it (whatever floats your boat, eh). Find a cool pose and pick one of your characters or some else's character, like Turra Shibata, to draw in that pose.
1.B.) Grab a comic book, graphic novel (Turra: Bombs and Betrayal) or just a cool book you've read (The Last Ride of Sam Hane) and make the character yours. Then see step 1.A.
2.) Pick a song that you would walk out to if you were in the WWE ("Here I Go" - Mystikal) and set it to repeat on whatever media player you have.
3.) Isolate yourself (as best you can especially if you're married and/or have kids)
