Halloween is over now,
the Nightmares are gone,
but still I won't take a bow
for the things that come.

Seeing Art helps me now,
Future here we come,
Waiting in a row
the things overdone.

Never see the dark again,
even if you're ill,
your thoughts up to explain,
you can do all at will.

Lay down under a tree,
thinking about possibility,
thinking about what could be,
if life is down with me.

Lay down under a tree,
wondering what could be.
Could there be a world outside,
full of wonders without a dark side?

Lay down under a tree,
wondering how the future could be.
Will there be fame and honor,
or will I still be minor?

Lay down under a tree,
thinking about me.
Do I want to go on like this
shall that all be?

Lay down under a tree,
no thinking about what could be,
just love the way life expects me to be:

It ended before it could start.'Once upon a time'-
It always seems to start like that.
The genesis of a fairytale that I know could never be.

Because a broken glass slipper
Is all he'd find and I'd be lost in the wind.

Or I'd never wake up because I never attained his kiss,
And I would never be his because of this.

Mark the loss, as if love was never gained,
And write 'The End' in bold for me.

In reality it matters
Whether I'm a peasant or not.
It matters to him and my enemy.

And for everything had,
They'd hate me.
Seeing a lie instead of why I sinned so greatly.

Fairytales don't really end in unbridled bliss
Or end like they should, you know.

"WE MISS YOU"-CONTEST-WINNERS1 year ago in Personal

MCR Poster ContestI think movie posters are an underappreciated art. It's not true that they have no emotion: the best posters are clever, artistic, and so eye-catching that you just can't wait for the film. For this contest, you have two options:
1. Create a poster for an MCR movie. This can be a biographical movie about the band, or a film about one of the album's storylines (Revenge, Killjoys, etc.) You could also take a song or lyric and create a film poster around it, as artists on Tumblr have done in the past.
2. Create a propaganda poster for Better Living or the Killjoys. Someone mentioned this in the survey, and I've thought about making it a seperate contest before, but I decided to make it an option here instead. Imagine that BL/ind or the Killjoys tried to recruit people or sway them to follow their beliefs. What would their posters look like?
