Another piece for the Star Wars LCG. This is actually my most recent one, just spoilered on FFG's website.

One very interesting facet of painting Star Wars game art is that we get to paint scenes that were never filmed or that were filmed differently, sort of an extra 'Director's cut'.

This image of Darth Vader and his loyal snowtroopers is from Fantasy Flight's upcoming "Star Wars: The Card Game," one of the products being released as a part of their new Star Wars line. Another preview from Fantasy Flight Games' upcoming "Star Wars: Edge of the Empire" RPG. Lando here will be a part of the core book, which creeps closer and closer on the horizon every day. You can read more about it on FFG's website: [link]

I think the thing that has been most fun about working on FFG's upcoming Star Wars card game is that I get to envision scenes from the movies from angles that the camera never picked up. Sort of makes the whole classic Star Wars experience fresh again!
