The 501st legion was one of the best legions in the Repubilc and now it had turned into Vader's personal stormtrooper unit. Captain Rex and the 501st landed on Coruscant finally carring out Order 66; the extermination of all the Jedi who were believed to have rebelled against the Republic. The way the events turned out was nothing but the shooting of blasters and the cries of pain right before the silence of death. On the way to Coruscant, every clone in the ship was quiet. Did they want to kill the Jedi who throughout the whole war against the Seperatists had shown care and eternal loyalty to them? Should they have done something? Did they have doubts? Any thoughts about what they were about to do? Of course there were some who felt this way, in paticular, Rex, who felt he was doing injustice and literally stabbing them in the back. Even so, not a single word was said in the ship, on Coruscant or even when they came marching into t

Death does accompany this man, adherent, though, not friend. A tool at times, but never loved, a means to bitter end.
There is a wall on Coruscant, black marble, smooth and cold.
There is a wall on Coruscant, two thousand steps, all told.
There is a wall on Coruscant, framed by eternal flames.
There is a wall on Coruscant that bears a million names.
A million names cut into stone, a million men are dead.
A single name is missing there, just one remains unread.
Two thousand steps he walks along, to pay his last respects.
The sole survivor, he's the one that Death always rejects.
He parts the masses milling there, the gawkers drawing back,
The mourners he just passes by, a wraith clad all in black.
The memories that haunt their minds, they follow in his wake,
Reflections staring from the stone, they paid for pride's mistake.
He cannot say he grieves for all, some did deserve no less.
But countless lives were squandered there, the Emp'ror to impress.

Born A Traitor
From birth he has been a traitor, having betrayed nature itself, and now he was about to betray the only family he had left. After this he would have no one. His only allies would be the dark shadow he called a Master and the dark side itself.
The engines of his gunship were humming peacefully. The calm before the storm, as it was called. There were at least twenty Clone Troopers in the ship with him. They were relatively quiet, checking their gear and rechecking it. Or were they? They could be conspiring against him at this very moment, plotting to kill him the moment he turned his back on them.
All beings were capable of betrayal in his dark eyes.
"Commander?" He called silently. "A word with you, if you please."
The blue-armored clone made his way through the crowd of soldiers and crouched in front of his superior, who had sat down in a corner, pitch-black robe covering him almost entirely. The Commander seemed alert, left hand on his holstere

“I'm sorry to distract you Master,” Leroi said apologetically. “I know you and Mistress Nokta are taking time to recuperate from the past week's excitement but we are being hailed.”

“She identifies herself as Master Potkin and she wishes to speak with you...in person.”
Kahan felt Aira-ty stiffen as she sat upright and glared at the com panel, her golden eyes narrowing.

Aira-ty tensed but remained where she was, her helmet under her arm as she starred back at the black voids.

He was curious about the scars.
Corso had spent enough time with Silver and other smugglers, scoundrels, and mercenaries that he knew the rules that came with the life. He knew you let the past stay the past and didn't dig up what someone else wanted to stay buried. And he was fine with that. If he started asking Silver about her past, his would be fair game for the redheaded smuggler, and that was a wound he didn't particularly want to tear open again. Not yet, at least.
He didn't need to know what sentimental reason made the Captain keep carrying that old, beat-up blaster in an ankle holster when she'd bought--or found--and sold ones five times better without batting an eye. He didn't care how she'd developed such a warped sense of humor, and he wasn't terribly curious about jobs she'd had in the past--intriguing as some of her "old friends" they'd run into had made a couple of said jobs sound.
But he was curious, almost to the point of distraction, about the trio of scars tha

But I can't deny my feelings,
So Obi-Wan my never lover,
I love you...but I can't say it.

Noble in nature,

From danger to hell and back,
And to safety in each other's arms.
Looking on sadly as you talk,
Together in this war,
Praying for sucess,
Defeat what evil there is.
I'm with you every step.
Always have, always will.
Hoping that you'll pull through.
I wish I could do more.
Wish I had the will,
To actually hold on,
And raise you so you'd be safe.

I laugh at them,
And then I wonder.
Am I safe if I let Ani cook dinner?

I have been a student of the mystics,
And a miller by a stream.
I have delved in the bones of Mother Earth,
And tended goats on hillsides.
I have been poor more often than not,
And happy, by and by.
I will flow into the sea one day,
Yet still I have my source.
My home is Caledon of old,
Beyond the wall of turf and tree,
Raised in folly by a Latin hand.
What need for temples and icons of gold?
We have the hills and sheltered glens,
The crags whose weathered faces,
Have glowered in the mists,
Ere your paltry lands rose from the waves.
I have been an otter playing in a burn,
And a kestrel on the wing.
I have been a wolf howling to the gale,
And a hermit in a hidden cave.
I have sang the song more often than not,
And died, by and by.
I will flow into the sea one day,
Yet still I sing my source.
My home is a hut of wood and thatch:
You might sneer at this hovel,
But you would not dare.
My wife, of royal blood and true,
Would slit you ear to ear,
Before you finished.
We value manners highly

The one we didn't dream.
She may have died a senator.
But our senator will always be,
Our Queen Amidala.
Who led us though the battles.
Today Naboo grieves greatly,
And I follow hiding my tears.
I was one of her hidden handmaidens.
Who travelled to far far away.
But Queen Amidala was one of us.
More so than other queens.
I have served them all since her,
But she was the queen supreme.

At a junction in your life.

You're taking the left turn,
Towards the darker side.
I'm the one who made the direction.
I'm the one who will destroy us all.
Can't you make the right choice?
Turn right right towards the force?
I don't want to hurt you anymore.
I don't want to start the fight,
Between those good and evil,
I want you to see the lighter side
And make speed the right direction.

You use me as a pointer.
And so you fall to the dark side.

It figured that Padme would have her epiphany not long before her own death. In the moment of seeing Rex rush to Ahsokas side before anyone else could run to catch her, and despite the reassuring words they all muttered to one another, she could see it in his eyes. One by one they were all losing faith, and it started with the collapse of their Jedi.
Padme knew the clones were loyal; they were bred to be that way. And of course they would need to have base compassions, to make them more than just what they were. But to see such compassion come from a clone was something unknown to Padme until that moment.
In order to ease her mind, she had tended to Ahsoka briefly, but moved on to tend to the clones around them that were all so ill. It was all she could do to keep her mind off of what she saw, though Padme couldnt resist the urge to look back at them every now and then as she moved from clone to clone.
He held her with such love and such caring that Padme had to keep tellin

I'm here for you if you cry.
I'm that comforting voice
At the back of your minds.
Always with you no matter what.
That's what mothers are, forget you nots.

The 501st Legion got the best and worst of the war. Assigned to various Jedi depending on the battle, not like other squadrons that had their own Jedi General. Out of all the Jedi Yin served, Anakin Skywalker caught his interest the most. He was unpredictable, arrogant and powerful.
