Those are GIRLS OCs from that SF story we made with *Ariall.
They are sisters :'D. There is a 3rd sister, but I hadn't the design yet when I made the lineart of this picture back in summer.
I'll try to draw the 3 of them together soon enough.

Normal people doodle normal things in class when they're bored and want to relax. I do celtic knotwork.

Hilariously not-symmetrical, but I don't care, 'cause I like it :D

For my Animal Anatomy class this summer, we often visited the Natural History Museum to draw fossila and modern specimins from the zoology department. These are some of my favourites that I did during those msueum trips. I forget all what is here, but there's an allosaurus arm/shoulder girdle, Brachiosaur skull, and a red-tailed hawk skeletal foot in there. =3

This will get you started on making a bracelet like the "Serpentina" in my gallery. You can also modify it to work round the entire focal bead as in "Burgundy and Lace".

A few pointers:

- the technique is very forviging in accommodating different bead shapes and sizes, but don't make the gradations between bead sizes too aggressive.

- if you want to do a piece similar to "Serpentina" your bead layers need to be symmetrical, i.e. the outside layers need to follow the reverse sequence of the inside layer, otherwise your fans won't connect seamlessly.

- if you are making rounds your layers can follow any sequence you wish

- ensure that your focal bead is round or oval. If you use flattened beads, your first anchoring thread will slip round to stretch around the flattened part of the bead and not around the outside.

Hope you are having fun with this technique. It is very versatile.

One of #AngeldevilManga's younger fans recently wrote to me, saying that she has now decided to become an artist, but she is having trouble drawing noses. I felt for her, have gone through the same torment as a young artist, so I drew this quick tutorial for her.

It is by no means a comprehensive study of the human nose, and I am by no means the best at drawing them, but I thought my watchers her on dA might be able to glean some useful information from it.

And remember:

Carbon on 12"x12" Aquabord
So, at last I have a little progress on the Triskittehs design.  I decided to use a 12"x12" ground, so the knotwork would be easily visible when it's hanging on the wall.  That meant I needed to blow up the design (which was originally about 7" in diameter), print it out on two sheets of paper and tape it together before I could transfer the design.  I transferred it using carbon paper.  There are definitely some errors in the transfer (especially on the lower kitteh mandala and the upper kitty is missing one foot), but that's fine.  These marks are not permanent.  They are guidelines for inking the design, which is the next step.

A quick, not cleaned sketch. I am not planning to finish this. Also, I am aware it has a lot of mistakes, but it was done only to cheer me up a bit when I was lying in bed yesterday. So no need to tell me this. Thanks~

Anyway, just a sketch of my lovely Rainbow Angel Star. Because I don't post sketches too often ;P and I love sketches so much :D
Hope you likey ♥

ACEO sized sketch of a rabbit. I used to draw rabbits all the time as a kid, probably because of a serious Watership Down obsession in fourth grade...
