Not modeled from any castle in particular, just my favorite parts of photos I searched. I'm 99% certain this book has nothing at all to do with a castle, but I read the title and ran with the first idea that came to me.

These go along with the Wizard Of Oz book sculpture. They were a commission piece. Originally, the client only wanted the slippers done, but I went a little crazy and did a whole scene. But, as promised, did the slippers as well.

Bring a view of India to your own home. This book sculpture is made from a 1892 book about Indian culture. The cover title is simply "India" though on the cover page it seems the whole title is "Women's Talks About India". the sculpture features silhouettes of prominent and historic buildings. Each building is cut through the book's pages and bent to stand. Wire runs through the buildings for stability.

Icarus flies between the sun and sea in this book sculpture. The scorching sun beats down on his wax wings while the waves wait below him. The figure of Icarus is an illustration from the book. Wings, waves and sun have been created by hand. The book used is "Legends of Long Ago", 1947.

This one is temporally not for sale. It will be shown at a gallery show through December. If you have an interest in purchasing it, please let me know and I will reserve the book for you until the show ends. If in the US, I should be able to get it to you before the holidays.

Flowers are beautiful, but they don't last forever. Give a gift that will stand the test of time with this beautiful book sculpture. The vase is carved using one complete book. The roses and lilies use the same book and are assembled petal by petal. This vase has seven roses with lilies and "greens" filling in. It stands 14 inches tall. The book used is a collection on short stories called "School Days" published in 1947.

This piece is sold, but I'd be happy to make another for you. Typical work time is about one week plus shipping.

Each tree will be made at the time of order. It may vary slightly from the tree pictured. Each tree is made from the pages of a book, 1970s or earlier. All branches are hand cut. The tree is finished with a semi-gloss UV spray to protect against sun and moisture damage. They stand approximately 8.5 inches wide by 7.5 inches tall, though specific sizes may be requested. A perfect, simple touch for your holiday decorating.

This wreath is about 20 inches round. It is made from the pages of a hymnal from the 1800's.

The pages are fixed to a light weight foam board backing with attached hanging hook. The whole wreath weighs less than 1.5 pounds. Because of the age and free standing position of the pages, this wreath is fragile. It is finished with a UV coating to protect it from sun and moisture, but I would not suggest hanging it outside.

Special pricing will be made if purchasing the trio.
