It's rather straightforward so I don't have a great deal to say about it right now, except the chosen color for this word is blue, color of devotion.

Khalq خلق is creation; I use genesis as title to differentiate it from, say, artistic creation. There are several verbs in Arabic that express a creative action with subtle distinctions between them, but khalaqa is the one used for the initial creative act, creation ex nihilo.

This design is based on a dream I had several months ago of a single point of force exploding into myriads and myriads of life forms, all visible as silhouettes in shades of green. It took many more hours of work than usual, and despite mixing silver into the paint, the result lacks the dazzling sheen I was hoping for, but I may give it a final iridescent wash to correct this. At any rate I think it would make a beautiful silkscreen in the future. The abundantly illustrated creation process is here: [link]

Materials: Acrylic, mica pigment, ink pens, gilding

Yes, I know it's a cliché, a beautiful woman and a beast together, but as I have not much accustomed to draw animals, this was a good opportunity to get with it. I Hope you like.
