The ice cream bet (Dad PolandXChild Reader)Toris sighed, leading Ivan to a nice cafe he used to frequent with his friend. Ivan said he wanted to go someplace new and had forced Toris into showing him where he hung out when he wasn’t on the job.
Rubbing his temples, he opened the door, the familiar chime on the door tingling through the room.
“Welcome back!” The bartender greeted him cheerily, nodding his head to where there was a table free. Toris smiled thankfully, crossing the cafe to get to their spot. The moment he’d shrugged off his coat and offered Ivan a seat, his ears were met by a familiar voice.
“I can like totally do this! Chill!”
Toris groaned, not now..... he thought, turning to see where Feliks was sitting. As soon as his eyes find him they widened, for sitting next to him was a little girl. It looked as though she was challenging him to something, her hands on her small sides and talking to him in her small voice.

FrancexChild!Reader- Vouloir, C'est Pouvoir Part 1You sat alone, swinging slowly on the swing set behind the fence of the orphanage that you had lived in for as long as you remembered. It was a dreary place, set right in the center of New York City, in the United States. The people who ran it were nice enough, but no one seemed to come here looking to adopt anymore. The orphanage was running out of money, and another child had heard the owners of the place attempting to get some help from the state to keep it open.FrancexChild!Reader- Vouloir, C'est Pouvoir Part 12 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Days seemed to roll by quickly, even though you never really got to do anything other than sit outside on the swings or run around in the yard with the other children. Simple games of tag and hide-and-seek were common, but they could only be played so many times before they became boring. So you would sit on the swings, usually alone.
Behind the fence, a man with blonde hair stood watching you, concern lacing his features. His hair was long and currently was tied back with a blue ribbon. A few stubborn strands had refused t

The boy you'd discovered in the alley close to your home was small, frightened and quivering like a leaf. His stained clothes and teddy-bear were spinning in the washing machine at that very moment and you rinsed his hair a few times.
He'd regained a bit of colour on his cheeks and he splashed the water between his dimpled hands. You replayed the scene from before in your head.
"Where's your mum?" You asked tentatively. The little boy merely shook his head, burying his nose in his bear. "What about your dad?" His purple eyes watered and he shook his head again.
You bit your lip in worry, glancing around for someone that could help you. "S-s'il t-vo-vous plait, aidez-m-moi?" His shaking voice snapped you out of your musings, on

The answer is very simple: He wanted you to help paint his house pink.
You just stared at him when he handed you a brush. He blankly stared back, forcing you to burst out,
"Why are you painting your house pink?"
He gave you a 'why the hell are you questioning me' look, but told you,
"It'll like, make Romania totally jealous!"
You just sighed and started painting. You knew your friend had quirks, but he has never done anything this drastic before. Sure, he borrowed your skirts without permission, but you got them back eventually. And, yeah, he once forcibly put makeup on you for a dance, but you'd gotten more attention than you'd ever gotten before, something that seemed to annoy Feliks.
"Hey, like, you can't paint like that, it'll leave streaks," came the Polish man's voice into your thought

The clatter in the kitchen grew louder. You winced, hearing pans fall to the floor. Your father stormed out of the double doors into the main room. All of the guests stared at the enraged Prussian dashing his chef's hat to the floor. You knew he was doing his best to control his temper, but he wasn't doing so well.
He trembled, wiping his hands on his apron and asked:" So, mein herr, vhat seems to be zhe problem?"
