Many things I regret
I want to take them back
But it's too late
I can never take them back
They've already hurt me so much
What can I do now?
Inside this HELL --
Light fades away
Darkness takes over
My control is gone
I can't be free
Alone and trapped inside this hell
Why won't you save me?
Because it's too late
Lost forever in the darkness

There was a time when a man named Siegfried Schtauffen took control of the Soul Edge, becoming powerless under the power of the blade. He eventually was able to retrieve his mentality and used the power of the holy blade Soul Calibur in order to save his body. He was separated from his Nightmare form and became the new wielder of Soul Calibur, while Inferno made a pact with Zasalmel, who made him a new body of his own. Thus Nightmare was born
EndermanAs the young blond traced small details onto her map, she wiped a bit of sweat from her brow. For early fall, it sure was hot... Or perhaps that was just the heat of the furnace getting to her? Sighing, Fleet dropped her quill and stood up, dragging her hand through her short, fluffy hair. The day had been long, and the evidence of this was all over her body- Dirty clothes, a small smudge of coal dust on her left cheek... Not to mention the fact that her hands were stained with ink. But all the dirt, all of that dust had been worth it. It was always worth it. Sitting back down again, she didn't even notice the sun setting as she her mind floated in the lala land that most refer to as reverie. Nor did she notice the tall shadow striding towards her house, a diamond block in hand.Enderman4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
How soft your fields so green, can whisper tales of gore,
Of how we calmed the tides of war. We are your overlords.
"The Immigrant Song", Led Zeppelin (Page, Plant)
The morning was colder than it had been in recent days. Ralof wasn't convinced that the temperature had anything to do with the climate of Skyrim however; he was sure the camp's proximity to the fort at Broken Tower Redoubt had more to do with the chill up his spine. Those damn Forsworn crawled through the fort; their burning eyes scanning the horizon. Ralof and his men were forced to keep their cooking fires low to prevent unwanted attention. It also meant that they had to rely upon their furs and pelts for added warmth. And he wasn't sure if either was successful.
Low clouds at this elevation were at least helping to provide cover from both directions: preventing discovery from the fort to the south and the caravan that was

Chapter Eight – To Ride in Snow
The chill air plumed from her mouth as the horse cantered along the river’s shoreline. Spotting the ford to cross, Mira grinned, shot a look over to the other rider whose fair hair was flowing loose from any bonds, matching her steed’s pace easily. Kicking her heels into the horse’s ribs, Mira laughed as the horse bounded across the shallow water toward the snowy plains on the other side. The horse wickered at the sudden freedom of running. Mira could hear a yell coming from Ulfric as he urged his horse to chase after her.
They ran wildly over the snowy plain sparkling pristinely in the pale sunshine, enjoying the bit of freedom from war, politics, and the troubles of the land. It was if they were transported back twenty years when they were young and doing the same chase. Mira swerved her horse, to which Ulric laid a parallel run to Mira. Slapping the reins, Ulfric le

She opened her eyes, and saw that the Enderman had backed away slightly, and was now holding out a hand to help her up. The blond stared. What... Why on earth? In utter confusion, she grabbed it's hand and let out a yelp as it hoisted her to her feet with ease and held out the diamond block she'd abandoned when she'd run away. But why? Fleet tilted her head and took the block, looking into the Enderman's eyes. It stared back and seemed to quiver a little, but it could still move. Why? Just... Why?
The answer was because it liked those big bright blue eyes, and the shiny hair. The Enderman wondered whether or not the hair was soft. Fleet didn't understand why it was staring at her hair... Did it want to pet her or someth- Her question was answered as it raised it's hand to her head and ran it through her short hair. It sent a small shock through her, jolting her body. It was indeed soft, and the Enderman could detect a
The Rules of FanfictionThe Rules of Fanfiction11 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
1. You are a writer. It does not matter that your form of writing is fanfiction – you are creating a piece of written art and therefore you are a writer. It will never be published outside of your personal webpage and DeviantArt but that isn't important. Your writing transcends the petty literary anthologies. Besides, who wants to be one of those kinds of writers? They're all just elitist snobs anyways.
2. When selecting a piece to write fanficiton about, make sure it is a well-known one. Plastering "FINAL FANTASY VII" all over the piece ensures that only dedicated fans look at it. Otherwise, you might wind up having one of those literary elitist snobs stumble across it, and we all know how they view fanfiction. Also, it ensures you an immediate fanbase. Selecting a relatively unknown work as your subject material means that only a select few will be able to read and comprehend it. &

"Wow, Marceline, isn't this place interesting?" Princess Bubblegum said.
"Yeah, sure, whatever" Marceline shrugs. "It seems kinda boring to me" Marceline responded, floating around lazily, yawning from the sheer boredom.
"Come on, be positive for once in your life." the princess said with a sigh.
"How about be interesting for once, brain lord" she snapped back
"At least I have brains!"
Marceline blushed, and got angry. "I totally have brains!" she shouted, grumbling to herself and crossing her arms
"Sure. You also heed to lose some weight. Getting a little chubby..." PB said, staring down at Marceline's squishy midsection, disapprovingly, her shirt starting to ride up a bit
Marceline reached under her t-shirt, gripping a single pale grey roll of fat in her hands. "Ugh, you're right" she moaned. "I really need to lay off the red" her blush intensified.
"And the people. I only ate one person, she was such a kid." the princess said.

By Lily Surilie, a humble servant and a faithful daughter to our Dread Father and Unholy Matron
Everybody who has ever bothered to visit a library has surely noticed an outstanding number of researches dedicated to the Nine as well as to the Daedra, but hardly anyone has ever found a work uncovering the mystery of Sithiss nature. This humble research was done to fill the regrettable gap in our theological knowledge. Some of my acquaintances were eager to prevent me from doing this research part of them being convinced that the topic is of no interest, others believing the very idea would most surely rouse ire of our Dread Father. The former are very wrong for there is no such topic which is of no interest to a devout scholar, as for the latter well, I shall be the first to know if Sithis is displeased with my work.
One of the first questions one faces when entering the Dark Brotherhood is: What is Sithis? The answers are numerous

There was a faint sound of crushing gravel as the little blue car pulled to a stop in the small parking lot. An aging man got out of the drivers side. He was extremely tall and well built for his age, and his hair was cut short and in varying shades of gray. A thick matching moustache adorned his slender, kindly face. Square glasses were perched on his nose. He reached back into the car, pulled out a simple mahogany cane, and with its help made his way over to the other side of the car.
He opened the passenger door and helped a young girl out of the car. This girl was fifteen years old, and skinny and straight as a twig. Her face was also slender like the mans, albeit much younger and more feminine. Shoulder length, sunflower blonde hair was swept up into a ponytail. She wore a simple white t-shirt and blue jeans, with flip-flops on her feet. Her hands were cov

It was the summer of 1957, and the night was calm and warm. The storm clouds from earlier were now just a few harmless puffs on the horizon, but the air still held a faint scent of sweet rain. A light breeze danced through the woods just outside of town, rustling the leaves of the oaks and maples and birches. And within these woods were two travelers, seemingly following some unseen path through the growth.
Come on, its just a little bit farther, called the man in the lead. He had short, scruffy, sandy brown hair and wore large, squarish glasses over his big sky blue eyes. He picked his way through the thick underbrush with an air of someone who had done it many time before. The woman behind him, however, wasnt having the same amount of luck.
I sure hope this it worth it, Will! shouted the petite Asian woman as she pulled her shirt free of another branch. I dont know how mu

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen! We're giving you a intriguing yet stimulating competition this nightfall. It's the vore battle of the shinobis! Here on one behalf, we have the lovely Hinata, the Konohagakure Ninja and heiress of the Hyūga clan!"
A girl with long navy blue hair appeared from one side of the stadium, donned in a lavender and white-hooded-jacket along with pants that was the same color as her hair. She wore sandals that had short heels and seemed to have a forehead protector around her neck. A shy yet confident look slowly appeared on her face as she waved to the crowds.
"And, for our other competitor, we have the mysterious member of the Sheikah tribe Z- I mean, Sheik!"
A rather androgynous figure appeared from the far side of the stadium, wearing a tight outfit. Their entire face was covered in wrappings, except for a small portion, revealing well-groomed blond hair and a pair of intense red eyes. They strummed a harp gently, producing a soft, gentle melo

Slender man, oh slender man?
Where art thou my Slender man?
Keeper of night, taker of day.
The Slender man awaits.
His tendrils slip,
His fingers drip,
He takes the life of whom he likes,
And disappears before the light.
Slender man, oh Slender man?
Where art thou my Slender man?
Your fear will only feed him,
As he comes for you children,
Stalking, testing, waiting.
The Slender man will come for you,
Just wait and see.
He'll slip into your room tonight.
Slender man, oh Slender man?
Where art thou my Slender man?
Oh there he is,
Hiding in the darkness,
Go look and see.
Fall asleep, he won't hurt you.
(Hush that was a lie)
Sleep tight tonight,
Have dreams so bright,
For the Slender man comes,
To end your life.
Dragon's Eye Sneek PeekIt was 10 oclock at night at the Toddson residence. Crickets were chirping cheerfully in the warm summer air, quietly playing their soft, familiar tune. A cool night breeze occasionally blew past, ruffling the leaves on the trees for a moment before continuing on its way. A golden retriever sniffed about, looking for some small furry animal to harass. Twilight raced around her library. Her eyes darted up and down every shelf, scanning the spines of the books. Rolls of parchment lay strewn all over the floor as she added more and more books to the large circular table that dominated the floorspace.
"Not this one. Not this one either... Not this one too!" Twilight whispered to herself as she opened book after book, flipping through all the pages in a matter of seconds before tossing it into a random area of the library.
The knocking on the door went unheard as Twilight continued to dash through the various rooms, reading any and every tome, bit of parchment or scroll that she could lay her hooves on.
The knocks grew impatient. Soon they were loud, slamming bucks of sturdy hooves. Twilight, who was nose-deep in An Almanac of Ausneighlian Animals, jerked her head in surprise.
"The door's open!" she shouted.
The hinges gave a tired squeak as a cyan pegasus took a few tentative steps in. A loud slamming noise erupted from the floor above,
