Doesn't half give me one hell of a wrist cramp...

Whenever I play Bethesda's Skyrim I always try to travel to my destination in a straight line. Often, mountains get in the way. I end up hopping up mountains as if I'm trying to do parkour, or my best Super Mario imitation...

HELLBOY Laoco÷n- B.P.R.D. - Steps
By Bill Reinhold

A requested 2012 HELLBOY commission along with characters Liz Sherman, and Abe Sapien based on the famous "Laoco÷n and His Sons" sculpture in the Vatican Museums, Rome. [link]

These are my steps from the Laoco÷n sculpture, thumbnail, pencil, ink, and color.

Please take a look at the Stefan Behringer's incredible HELLBOY art collection at comicartfans! [link]

The art was done in india ink with crow quill, watercolor and qouache on 300 LB watercolor paper.

Small touch-ups done in Photoshop.

The finish is here-

Based on a true story! When I first started playing Skyrim, I went to Whiterun and became Thane. I was awarded my own bitch (Lydia). Her only real usefulness came from carrying my crap for me- since I had a tendency to pick up EVERYTHING.

She was affectionately referred to as "The Bitch", both for her attitude and my use of her as slave labor.

Eventually, she died.

The end.

(This was 3 days worth of work, with a lot more effort put into it than I originally intended. I am pretty proud of this piece! It was done mostly in Paint Tool SAI with the text and borders added in Photoshop.)

I am sorry for not responding to everyone! I am overwhelmed by how many people have viewed, commented and favorited this piece! It really means a lot to me! I never expected this comic to be seen by so many people. Thank you all so much! I am so glad I could make you all smile!

"Fusionary"
-
FINALLY! Something with one of MY characters!
For those of you who don't know, this is "Hadoken" AKA, Curtis Wolfe
(NOTE; YES, I know it's the Street Fighter move, but there's a reason. 1. "Hadoken" translates to "Wave Attack." And once I explain his sword, you'll understand how that name is justified. 2. Before he became this bad-@$$ ninja, he was a gamer WHO'S FAVORITE GAME WAS STREET FIGHTER. If you still go all whiny fanboy after that, go chew on a brick!)
Hadoken was originally created from an art assignment where we were supposed to design ourselves as a superhero. I was inspired a lot by the new Batman movies that were coming out at the time. I decided to make him more of the fusion between Martial arts, and technology, but placing more of the emphasis on the ninja stuff.
His signature weapon is his sword "Tsunami." It harnesses a portable MSD (Molecular Suspension Drive) Instead of going into the fancy science talk, here's the breakdown;
Know how a glo-stick leaves a streak behind it? The Tsunami does the same. However, at any moment, the blade can be charged, and temporarily make those streaks a solid surface. These can be flung like projectile blades, (or WAVES....) make a temporary wall to block attacks or projectiles, or even make surfaces to jump across. (I'll try to animate it if I ever get the chance)
I am VERY satisfied with how the shading and highlights came out on this. Like, more than usual. The sword hilt was the only thing that gave me trouble though.
Either way, enjoy!

Based on actual Skyrim events. :)

While clearing out some undead from a tomb, I remembered that J'zargo had given me a scroll to try out. Upon finding that the scroll allowed me to one-shot Draugr by touching them, I proceeded to throw myself around the tomb like a fiery bouncy ball. I had a bit too much fun with that. >_>

For my first run through Tamriel, I chose to be a high elf named Shiraz. Lots of strange, glitchy, and amusing things happen while I'm playing, so much so that I've been planning a series of comics (though I can almost guarantee none of the future comics will be as long as this one).

-------
Skyrim and its characters belong to Bethesda
Shiraz belongs to me

Yes.
He makes squeaky sounds, even if I don't write it in any of the comics he's in, it's there. Invisible. Squeaky sound effect.

Maybe being tricked wasn't all too bad, at least Isaac learned he's important.

Panel 1: Today, Daina tricked me into being her friend.
She just wanted to use me.
Panel 2: Daina: We need that precious head of your's
She told me I was needed.
Panel 3: I felt special so it was ok kinda
