This is my Fiancé, DarkSnip3r's, Nightingale cosplay from the Theives Guild quest line in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. He's debuting this costume at PAX East and plans on doing a photoshoot in the following weeks.

This guy was one of my favorite cosplayers at C2E2 2012 in Chicago! This was Skyrim, he won the Friday costume contest, and well deserved though there were many great outfits!

The convention shot with people in the background does not do the outfit justice of course.

Skyrim is an single player RPG video game, part of The Elder Scrolls series.

I'm not sure if he has DA. I talked to him briefly but he was always being mobbed for photos. So if anyone recognizes him, please let me know!

That is my very first attempt in cosplaying and it was pretty rushed... shouldn´t have started it right before a convention... Nevertheless it survived the 168.000 visitors and several train journeys with just a few cracks around the shoelaces.
I was uncertain about his boots since they actually look different on the samples (they were shiny golden metal in the loading-screen but looked like rugged brown leather in the inventory-screen). The same goes for the clothes, since they were anthracite on the promotional render but more greenish in the actual game. So ehm: it´s something. ^^°

materials: XPS- and EVA-foam, acrylics, canvas-fabric, 500 sheets of copy-paper, a lot of glue
costs: ~ 80 €
time: ~ 2,5 weeks
