Two Harbors MN, 2086. Designed to hover over water rather than float in it, this ship hovers about 100 meters over the surface of the water, rendering it impervious to Lake Superior's vicious storms. Intended to haul iron ore, its heavy duty construction would also make a great mobile base for a villain. Boss fight anyone?
Had to hold this back for a while, finally able to post it. It was a marketing poster for a little private project called Star Fall by two 3D guys, Louis Boka and Ferdinand Reginensi. They have websites where they show some of the work for this. Not sure about progress and scope of all this really. I provided some concept art is all. Check it out! Some pretty awesome renders there.
I usually make it a point to thank everyone individually, because I never take interest in my work - by anyone - for granted, but in this case it's just too much! Every single comment and is truly appreciated though! It means a lot.
The beginning of colonization efforts somewhere at the outer rim of our known universe. The ship designs are based in part on real NASA concepts, just as the Helios colony vessel.
