~Manual Labor~ (England x Reader)"[Name]?" you heard Ivan call.
You looked up from whatever you were doing, to look at him. "Yeah?"
"Are you going to keep this, or can I throw it on the trash bag?" he asked, holding up an old, broken garden gnome. Since when you've had that thing, you had no idea.
You and your friends Ivan, Alfred, Arthur, Francis and Yao were on your garden, throwing away stuff you didn't need anymore.
"Throw it away!" you answered, pointing at the big, black trash bag that Yao was holding.
"Why am I the one who has to hold the trash bag for, again? It stinks, aru! Literally!" the Chinese man whined.
"Please, Yao, just hold it!" you begged, putting on your best puppy face. After Yao stared at it for a couple seconds, he sighed in defeat, looking away. You cheered inwardly.
A few minutes passed by, while the others ask you about which things you wanted to keep or throw away.
"Hey guys, I'm hungry! Can we take a break now and eat something?" Alfred exclaimed. As if on a cue, you heard a loud grumbling

He felt like he was on top of the world. His mind was soaring; his heart pounded heavily in his chest with excitement and power. And she was the source of it all. He watched as she pirouetted across the dark tile floor, her feet gliding across the tiles as if it wasn’t even there. Her arms fell around her body gracefully as they swayed to the imaginary music in her head. Her simple white dress flowed around her, the fabric billowing out from her waist, gently twirling around her spinning legs. The blue bow that was wrapped around her (h/l) (h/c) hair chased behind her as she teetered back and forth. She was merely a blur of colors. Pink, blue, white.
_________’s eyes caught hold of Arthur’s as her body took to another spin. Her eyes shined brightly, their deep (e/c) color sparkling, immediately pulling Arthur in. She was the embodiment of innocence and simplicity and it made Arthur all the more eager to touch her.

All of a sudden, you heard a quiet storm of cursing before someone revealed himself from the back covered in shambles of broken wood and crinkled sheet music.
"Bloody hell, it was too dark. I knew where I was going "
The young man in front of you had messy blonde hair barely covering a pair of bright emerald green eyes underneath the bushiest eyebrows you had ever seen. He was wearing an embarrassed expression probably because he had tripped on something in the back. You didn't know what he was doing here, though.
"Um, are you alright?" you asked quietly bringing your bow closer to your chest in case he was going to lunge at you (though you wouldn't know why he would do something like that in the first place).

"No," you pouted. "It'll be loud and give me headaches."
He simply chuckled and walked over to his CD rack. Arthur ran his hands over the many different CDs and scanned the rack for music. You wandered over to his old records. For some reason, you found them a lot more interesting than his new music.
Now, you know that Arthur has been around for a while. He IS the personified version of England. You ran your finger over several record cases before stopping at a specific record. It read "Abbey Road". You excitedly pulled it off the rack and ran your fingers over the dusty cover. This was your absolute favorite Beatles album.
You spun around excitedly and waved the album infront of your boyfriend's face, "Look!"

That is the ungodly time England was woken up by a phone call. From the ringtone, "What makes you beautiful" (dawws), he knew it had to be ________.

"Arthur, you need to get over here. Now."
The serious in her voice as well as what she said kind of turned him on a little. And it showed in his response.

You had always dreamed of a place, were things are a bit odd. Doors would be so small, a mouse could hardly squeeze through. Eating things would change your height. All of these creatures so very, very odd. You were so confused. Until he came along and taught you the ways of Wonderland.
You sighed in annoyance as you realize you were lost. Again. It seemed that every path you took only led you to being frustrated, confused, and lost. If only you could find one descent creature here to help you out. Then, maybe you could enjoy your dream more. So far, it was everyone you had met that has led you to be in a tangle of emotions. They mocked you and ushered you to leave. No one wanted the outsider human girl.

It was a different experience for Arthur, being in the thick of the crowd. When Alfred or Francis even managed to get him into a place like this he usually stuck to the outskirts of the dance floor, he preferred his space out there. Often times he kept to the shadows, standing along the walls. There it was secluded, and quiet (despite the raring music) and he could actually think there. Besides, most of the tables stood alone, away from the crowd, making for an easy escape when he got bored. Tonight, however, was different. He had caught a glimpse of something.
