I know you're all probably sick of miniature Christmas stuff by now, but hey - at least these aren't cookies! They're little marshmallow snowmen with candy scarves sitting on top of a chocolate covered graham cracker.

The real size ones of these came across my tumblr the other day and I knew I wanted to make them. They are really tiny - less than 1/4 of an inch in height.

At one point I had to stop working on them since my hands were shaking too much. I was worried I'd ruin them (especially when it came time to put on the little eyes).

These will be up in my Etsy shop and in my Weebly shop tonight.

A little while ago, someone mentioned these cookies to me and I decided to see if I could make them in clay.

Through quite a bit of trial and error, it turns out that I can. :P These little stained glass cookies are actually sort of see through in the middle. :)

I'll be working with other shapes soon. These trees were just a test run.

They'll be available in my Etsy store and in my Weebly store later today.

1:12 scale raspberry crepe cake with a side of raspberries and blackberries.

I love crepes. I love crepe cakes even more. So I decided to make a miniature crepe cake. c:

This was a learning process, and for the next one, I know what to do and what not to do - like make sure the edges of the crepes droop down like they do in the real version. Ah well, I still like this one. :D

Crepe cake is about 3/4" in diameter and made from polymer clay. :)

1:12 Scale Rock Candy

Still playing around with candy for my pastry shop room box display. :)

Looking at old fashioned hard candies when I came across rock candy. :icongrandmathunderpants: has a great tutorial for how to make it out of clay ([link]), but I wanted to try another medium to get a more candy like look. So the actual candy isn't polymer clay, but the sticks of the candy are. c:

Still need to work with it a bit more, but for a first try it came out well enough I think.

This was what I was doing pretty much all weekend: making mini hard candies.

So. Many. Canes. ._.

I'll be using these in a few upcoming projects, so I wanted to make sure I was stocked up. c: I'll also be posting these on my Etsy and Weebly shops for anyone who is looking for old fashioned hard Christmas candies.

Close up of the Snowflake cookies I had made for the assorted Christmas cookie platter before. I really need to make some more - they were a lot of fun to decorate. c: Plus they're one of my favorites out of all the cookies I've made.

They're available here, as are the miniature peppermint hot chocolates: [link]

More Christmas cookies!

1:12 scale Hershey Kiss peanut butter cookies, chocolate cookies with peppermint, white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, and dark chocolate cookies with nuts.

I finally have some things to post, so I'll stretch them out over the next week, since I know I'll be strapped for time again from tomorrow on. :c

I know I said that this week would be pretty much miniature free, but I couldn't help myself. I sat down to work last night, opened the windows (since it was actually chilly outside!) and was just inspired and really in the Christmas mood. :la:

It started out with one set of cookies and I couldn't stop! So I ended up with: frosted snowflake sugar cookies, peppermint frosted sugar cookies, Christmas cookie cutter decorated sugar cookies, and heart shaped frosted sugar cookies with candy canes.

All of the 1:12 cookies are made with polymer clay and individually hand decorated by me. c:
