Here's the first set of photos from the 5 hour shoot that I did with ~JeanneKilljoy and my fellow photographer, SM Sullivan Photography. It had been far too long since ~JeanneKilljoy and I had worked together, so we decided instead of choosing one or two costumes to shoot that we’d do a longer shoot and make awesomeness happen! I’m really psyched with how each shoot turned out, and I can’t wait to put them all up!
Preview photo of my Psylocke cosplay worn at Emerald City Comic Con (Friday and Sunday). I've been wanting to do her for ages, and finally thanks to *Pink-Bunnie I got to! Psylocke has sooooo many variations so it was hard to decide, but after seeing the Bishoujou variant I knew that was the one. Heels make my legs and bum look better. >.>
Must get a second sword. Plans to make light up swords and a light up psychic knife are in the works!

X-Men's Psylocke Kotobukiya Bishoujou Variant
Oh how I wish my photoshop skills weren't for suck so I could play with effects on this. XDD
This costume has been on my 'to do' list for over 6 years. I've always loved this version of Psylocke's costume, I lovingly refer to it as the gypsy butterfly. For those who don't know this is Betsy's original costume from when she first takes the name Psylocke and joins the X-men in the 80's.
The bodysuit is made from a custom pattern drafted by me. The costume is made from a pink four way stretch spandex and lined with a white spandex. The cut out sections on the waist are inset with a skin tone mesh. The sleeves and leg detail are made from a dark pink chiffon. The cuffs and rectangle appliqués are made from a dark pink suede. The appliqués are satin stitched in place. The wig is cut and styles by me.
