Little soldier boy
Comes Marching Home
From your battle
You come marching home
Brave soldier boy
Please come marching home
If only I could've helped you
You would come marching home
Little soldier boy
Comes marching through my heart
Brave soldier boy
Never came marching home
Farewell my son, I will never forget you...
Tokka Week- BedtimeBedtime was her favorite part of the day. It was the time when they could forget about work and just focus on each other for a little while. They lay in bed, talking softly between themselves. Sokka peered over at Toph, who was lying on her back with her hands supporting her head, a content little smile on her lips. "What?" she asked.
"I never get tired of looking at you."
"Wish I could say the same."
Sokka chuckled softly and kissed her temple. He ran his fingers through her black hair and let his fingertips trace her jawbone. Toph leaned forward and connected their lips. Her hand traveled to the nape of his neck to pull him closer and deepen the kiss.
Abruptly, Toph froze and her eyes shot open. She flew out of bed and landed firmly on the ground. Sokka had heard it too. The faintest giggle. And it hadn't come from Toph.
"You don't think-," Sokka began.
"Well, I don't think Lin's the type to giggle to herself." She stamped her foot on the ground, but could o

Day 24 – Zutara Month
Snow fell at a constant, steady pace, a cue to Iroh that the Jasmine Dragon would experience its busiest time of year. It had been just two years since Zuko left the little shop and became the well renowned Fire Lord, and everything seemed quiet. Of course, Zuko rarely talked when he was working with Iroh, but there was still a sense of communication between them. Now, even with a talkative employee, the absence changed the atmosphere. At least he was able to have conversations with his customers, who usually frequented the shop and had developed an acquaintance with him.
A few days ago, Iroh had received a letter from his nephew, stating he would visit. The entire shop had been organized and reorganized again. The excitement Iroh had brightened the entire room with each smile. He even closed the shop early, knowing that, despite his new title, Zuko was still not a very social being.
"Hello?" The bell rang with the person's entrance. Iroh turned
AscendencyToday was a day of grand celebration in the Fire Nation; a day that would be forever remembered in the annals of history. The great war, which had lasted for one hundred years, had finally come to a close in the Fire Nations favor. The Fire Nation had finally claimed victory over the lesser peoples of the world; they had finally won! With the power of the comet on their side they had proven to be unstoppable. And now, with the comet gone, they took their place as rulers of the world.Ascendency6 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
Loud fireworks went off in the sky, and parades and dances were breaking out in the streets the likes of which had never been seen. The elderly dropped to their knees and praised the Spirits for finally recognizing the Fire Nation as the worlds chosen people, and the very young, who didnt quite understand and grasp the importance of what was going on, had no problems with joining in the festivities. There was a power flowing through the nation; a power that swept up the people and filled

She had asked his mother what his favorite color was. She wasn't entirely surprised when the answer she received was red. He was from the Fire Nation, and he was a fire bender. Of course his favorite color was red.
After buying the nicest red yarn she could afford along with some knitting needles, she got to work on her gift for him.
As a woman who was also an earth bender, she wasn't very good at homey things like knitting or sewing, but for him, she was determined to try.
There were several times where she wanted to give up. However, when she spent some time with him, she realized just how much she loved him, and she would go back to work on that gift.
It didn't turn out as nice as she had hoped. There were several areas where she had messed up and tried to fix it, but it was as nice as it was going to get.
She gave it to him on the day of their wedding. She blushed as she handed him the hand made scarf. She didn't see the soft smile on his face as he accepted he

Don't forget to fav this if you're a fan of the Movie.
With all the recent buzz about the trilogy still alive---Facebook page added new wordless Aang poster last week that's caused a lot of hype (and of course Frank Marshall declared that the trilogy is not cancelled) and a Spring-2012 article of M. Night talking about TLA2---I'm definitely happy for M. Night. But it would be unfair & unjust if M. Night has to design TLA2 as a sequel to the version of the movie that's NOT the Original True Version he made for us fans. (I'm talking about the version he filmed in 2009 before Paramount/Viacom forced him to do the all the reshooting in early 2010 just so the movie could be shorter for sake of cheaper 3D conversion)
Maybe there's still a chance to convince Paramount/Viacom to let M. Night release his original epic version of the movie before he starts making TLA2 (which is supposedly after he's done with "After Earth")....That way, M. Night can make
Reassurance"See this? It's fire. You might be able to bend it," tiny hands reached to touch the flame and Mako quickly pulled his left hand back. "Don't touch sweetheart. It'll hurt. But see, it's like a heartbeat. Just like yours," he took her little hand gently in his right and placed it over her heart. "Mommy says you might be a waterbender though. From what she tells me that's all push," he extinguished the fire in his left hand and took her other hand in his and softly pushed her arms back, "and pull," he pulled her into his arms. "Or maybe you're an earthbender like Uncle Bo or an airbender," he gently tossed her into the air and catching her. She giggled. "And if you can't bend anything at all I still love you and you're going to have the best defense classes ever because I want you to be able to beat up any boys who look at you. "Mako I think we should go do something," Korra said looking up at him.
This was not part of the plan. He tried to reason with her. "We are doing something, we're hanging out together."
"No I mean like a date thing." She was actually blushing. Spirits she was going to kill him.
"We went out a few nights ago."
"We went out two weeks ago. Come on Mako, let's do something, please?" She pouted. She knew he couldn't deny her anything when she did that and used it to her full advantage.
He sighed. "Fine what do you have in mind?"

The Rabbiroos' firebender was actually putting up a fight. He was a really good pro-bender. Not as good as Mako, but definitely more of a challenge than his thin, wiry appearance had led Korra to believe.
She was stuck against the railing in Zone Three as he fought against her, hurling blasts of bright fire her way in rapid succession. It was taking nearly all of her energy to draw up water from the grate in front of her to lash away the attacks. He was bending too fast for her to get an attack in herself. She growled in frustration each time. Her instincts begged her to stop being an idiot and just use her firebending to cut through his attacks, whorl the flames down, around, and back at him, Avatar style. She ignored them.
Another attack, barely blocked, and she cried out, snarling. He was very strong, and he didn't seem to be wearing out. All she needed was a gap in his assault, and she'd be fine. He smirked at her from across the ring and shot two quick punch

Summary: Korra has a dream, Katara was dying.
Aang came to her in a dream. It felt so real that she had found herself sitting on the ledge facing the ocean. Tenzin had found her sometime later with tears staining her cheeks when she didn't show up from morning meditation. He didn't say anything when he approached her, but in a soft voice she whispered to the ocean. "We have to go to the South Pole." She turned to face him and he frowned. Something inside of her told her to embrace him.
He nodded and told her to pack her bags, he didn't have to ask questions. His mother was dying. Korra gathered her things and met the Airbending family at the sky bison.
Pema was too far along in her pregnancy to travel and protested when Tenzin told her to st

Zuko starred off the top of the palace roof into the sunset. It was horrendously unsafe for him to do this, the fire lord, just sitting on his highest tower roof when nobody knew he was up here. But he needed to get away from it all.
It had been so long since the war ended, ten years, and the month or so leading up to that and the first years after, had been the high point of his life thus far, and would probably stay that way forever.
Zuko wasn’t sad, just nostalgic. He missed his old friends, Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph. He still saw Aang and Sokka from time to time, but their visits were mostly spent on political affairs, as they were both held s

Just a few months and it was already so hard. Mako sat next to his 6 year old brother. They had been on the streets for 4 short months, and they were broke and winter was slowly approaching. They needed as many yuans as they could get for anything that could keep them warm during the harsh winter nights.
Bolin taught his new found friend, Pabu, as he called him, some tricks and left a jar beside him. Most people walked by and ignored them, some nicer ones dropped a few yuans. Everytime one of these people came by, Bolin yelled "Thank you, kind sir!" in his high, squeaky voice. Mako sat there staring at the jar and folded his arms across his chest.
"Bolin, we need money for the winter. I'm sorry, bro, this isn't going to be enough."
Bolin pouted out his lip.
"Maybe I can run more numbers for the Triple Threats "
"No, Mako, I don't like when you leave for there. Those Triple Threats are some nasty dudes."

"You're cheating," Mako continued to complain about his fiancée's attire. "That's not fair."

Korra, Mako and Bolin were sitting in Bender's Palace, their local restaurant, waiting for Tahno and Asami to arrive. The night before, the engaged couple called their ex's and both happily agreed to get together. The plan was to eat and talk for half an hour or so and then afterwards they'd all go to see a movie.
Korra and Mako both agreed it'd be a good idea to bring Bolin along, that way he wouldn't be lonely and he could keep everything going fine just in case there was any tension. That's the one thing that remained the same with him over the many years; his fun-loving, optimistic and funny

They had not walked far when this someone appeared in front of them, seemingly out of thin air, and stopped them abruptly in their tracks. Dean almost jumped in surprise at the sight of the stranger, before he automatically tried to get his hand free in the awkward situation of being caught holding hands. But he realized by then how hard Castiel was holding on to his hand, and Dean couldn't possibly get free. He sent a frustrated look at Castiel but he didn't notice Dean's uncomfortable state, just stared wide eyed at the man before them, frozen in visible fear. First when seeing this, did Dean realize that this wasn't very good, a stranger seeing the angel was actually no good at all.
"Who're you?" he demanded loudly, angry at the trespass on their property, and hurriedly stepped in front of Castiel in an attempt to get him out of sight. But just as abruptly Castiel moved him back behind himself, now shielding him instead, an

"Hnngh..." She could hardly move, her limbs like lead. Everything ached. Her entire body was a lump of numbed, sore flesh coated in a metal suit. The floor was cold against her cheek.
"Toph!" That voice - his voice. It was near, but muffled by the daze she was lost in. In this cloud of pain and confusion, his voice was waking her up.
Sprawled on her side, she meagerly grasped her deadened fingertips at the hard floor. Nothing. No pulse of the earth. This was disconcerting.
"Toph," he grunted out again, his voice forced and ragged. She could hear his approach amidst the scuffling of dozens of others, further off.
"Gugh-" was all she could manage out before a cough flew from her throat. Her fluids had been displaced, which was throwing her body for a loop.

Korra had managed to keep a straight face but Mako could tell she was holding back her tears, leaving her parents again must of been hard for her. He held her in his lap, keeping her close while Tenzin shot watchfull glances at them every now and then, and Bolin snored on a pile of blankets next to them.
For lunch they had rice balls, and then everyone took naps, or most of them did. Lin, Tenzin, who was flying, and Mako stayed awake. Mako watched Korra sleep, her head in his lap. He felt so peacefull, flying through the air with the girl he loved, who loved him back. Nothing could be better.

After ordering the angel to dry himself with the towel, Dean fled the room with the excuse of getting some clothes. After a minute of contemplating what could possibly fit an angel he settled with what he had, that is, except underwear, a pair of jeans, socks and shoes, a plaid blanket at top since no shirts would fit over the huge wings. And it felt considerably better being in the bathroom when Castiel finally got the jeans on, even though Dean’s jeans were a tad too big and too long it at least covered him up and kept him warmer than that torn tunic, which at the moment lay forgotten on the floor.
Then Castiel held the blanket up in front of him and sent an asking look over it towards Dean.
“Well, let me.” Dean grimaced awkwardly and started wrapping the blanket around Castiel’s upper body. If Dean hadn’t been sure before, he now got proof seeing them up close from the back, that the wings ac

It took one week before Dean could really eat anything. It took Sam two weeks to get him to come down from his room. It took three weeks for the injuries to heal but four weeks for Dean to accept Castiel to really be gone from his life. The pain was still there, though. All of the time, unyielding and just as strong, not diminishing with time, it felt like it would split his chest open, it being so painful he couldn't even cry. However, it would probably never fully leave.

Zuko's Hair: the SymbolismIt is a widespread and somewhat controversial theory that Zuko's changing hairstyles throughout the three seasons of Avatar: the Last Airbender are symbolic of the internal changes which he experiences over the course of that time. I personally support this theory.Zuko's Hair: the Symbolism4 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Let's begin with the basics. I am going to explain the theory at its core in the simplest of terms, and then explain the thought process which led me to this theory.
When you see Season One Zuko, with his ponytail, what do you think? I'm willing to bet that you think "bad". You may deepen this label by throwing in such choice terms as "angry", "bitter", "hurting", "confused", "searching for answers", and the like, but on the surface, it's just "bad". Now let's skip ahead 63 episodes. We are now in season three, and Zuko has shaggy hair. When you see this Zuko, what do you think? You think "good". You may also think "changed", "redeemed", "honorable", "noble", or "forgiven", but basically what you think is "good".
Now I want
