A week before the Reichenbach fall, Sherlock was planning on baking a cake secretly for John for his birthday, apparently as clumsy as he was with kitchen appliances, he hurt himself by a hot stove and was found out by John. John never suspected anything on what Sherlock wanted to do at that time, he think Sherlock was just doing another crazy experiment of his, so he just treated the wound and Sherlock never attempt to bake a cake again after that.
Until after a month after Sherlock died, John finally came back to 221b Baker Street, tried to cleaned up all the mess Sherlock did in the fridge, till then he found out a hidden cake behind the decapitated head. There’s a note on top of it…
“Happy birthday John -SH”
(obviously I didn’t know what’s Watson’s birthday date)

Sherlock BBC made by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss
I must apoligise for my spamage of art recently - I have literally done nothing else but draw these past few weeks!
Well this one took a damn while too - who knew BBC banners took so FREAKING long to draw! But I'm pleased with the result so hopefully it was worth my back pains and hand cramp!
Rant aside - I remember putting in a previous deviation that Sherlock would only smile at a crime scene, so I felt I needed to demonstrate it with this comic! Ok ok so it is exaggerated but I just really wanted to draw Sherlock dancing at a crime scene. So there.
And the reporter is someone I made up - don't bother searching for a 'Linda Wright' LOL Not that you would anyway xD
Pah! Right, I'm done. I think I'll just...lie down now. For a looong time...
This was done because I had a lot of feels and I needed a cheer-me-up - So I did a Post-Reichenbach scene where Sherlock is all, 'going out for a sec brb', but John catches him before he leaves.. just in case ♥
; u ;
and i'm not sorry for puking up the rainbow on this one
