So this was originally going to be a ring.... but I thought the leaf would probably get caught on stuff etc. So I made it into a necklace I think it looks rather adorable I also made a different ring version without the leaf that will be available in the next couple of days I hope you peoples like it!
Made by me from polymer clay, painted with acrylics and then coated in gloss.
Hello! Since I'm totally on with Sherlock BBC, here it is another little piece of chibi colsulting detective Sherlock Holmes and faithful fluffy little Jawn Watson. Actually this is a sketch for the imminent paperchild (I've never posted a preview for anything, it seems so professional XD), John'c cutie face made me aww so much that I though that should be posted anyway (I'm sorry for the bad quality of the photograph .__.)
Come with me, back to heady days of the summer of 1983 when a much younger Ruthie was baking 'free from a cereal packet' shrinkles in the gas oven with help from my Mother, the obligatory adult in these sort of craft situations. I loved my slightly wobbly Shreddies keyrings, now lost in the mists of time.
Fast forward to present day where Ruthie now creates hand-drawn & super cute charms, none of which have anything to do with cereal, from the aforementioned Shrinkles. The technology has moved on somewhat, I no longer rely on kitchen appliances to cook them, but they're just as much fun to make!
This charm bracelet takes it's inspiration from BBC's Sherlock. It features shrinkles charms of Lestrade, Moriarty, Mycroft, Sherlock & John. Vintage brasstone buttons & a violin complete the bracelet.
No one bracelet is the same as the buttons I use are unique - this piece can be adjusted by length, let me know what you'd like in inches. Like all of my work, it arrives in a presentation organza bag & a box too.
As I create the charms from scratch I can create them in any colourway or style so I am open to custom orders. The same design charms can also be made into earrings, necklaces, phone charms etc.
