The boys' eyes widened at your hostile tone; your voice had come out as a low growl due to your throat being dry from lack of water. The short, black haired man seemed unfazed by your hostility and continued to stare at you with cold eyes.
"We seek shelter," the black haired man replied in a monotone voice. His grey eyes continued to bore into yours as he slightly nodded his head in the direction where Jean sat. "We have an injured soldier who needs medical aid."
You ceased the staring contest with the short man after a moment of silence, by throwing your dagger into the ground by your bare feet. You let out a grunt and curtly nodded your head at the men.
"(First Name)," you said simply.
The black haired man remained silent for a moment, before replying in a bored tone, "Levi."
"I'm Eren Jaeger," the brunette said.
"Jean Kirschtein," the injured one said, smirking at you.
"A-Armin Arlert," the blonde one stuttered.

Strong and brave and fair;
Fierce they are and proud,
Tall and dark of hair;
Filled with passion and iron of will,
A two edged sword this can be.
Never do they turn aside from their propose,
From no enemy do they flee.
Ache their hands do to craft and create,
Beloved of the Smith are they.
Burn their minds do for knowledge,
But into folly they sometimes stray.
Lovers of hills and open lands,
The Watchtower their first home.
Many other glorious kingdoms did they build,
Seven High Kings they have known.
BathingIn the quiet forests of Doriath, the sunlight was falling dappled through the leaves high above. The birds were singing, the branches were rustling, small animals were hopping happily through the undergrowth. A slight breeze whispered through the trees, and a small brook murmured nearby. Galadriel, however, was unable to enjoy it.
"I feel disgusting," she complained, pulling sharply on her reins to steer her horse around a small bush. "Do you people never wash?"
Her Sindar guides looked offended, but were unsure how to respond. She was a high lady of the Noldor, after all. As usual when in need of guidance, they turned to their lord.
Celeborn sighed quietly and gave Galadriel a mild smile. "We will be in Menegroth very soon, my lady. Be assured that King Thingol's halls have very beautiful baths."
A frown marred the loveliness of Galadriel's face. "We will be in Menegroth in two days. I feel disgusting now." She huffed out a breath and pulled her

And pain of fame
He was my father
His anger like flood
We sealed our Oath
In fire and blood
The flame extinguished
By Oath we're still bound
Through tears and pain
No rest to be found
The blood on my hands
And my hand in chains
What was it for
When nothing remains?
The Light we sought, burns
So close, yet so far
We are not worthy
To touch a star
Burning flame, take me
And clean the stain
Take the cursed Jewel
And end my pain!
In fire it started
In fire it ends
Just like my father
The fire in my veins
Attack on Titan: Erwin x reader x Levi Pt.1There was a feeling of pity in sitting heavy in your stomach.. and your chest. You sat outside of the closed off door and leaned against the frame. The sight was burned into your memory. Erwin had been so covered in blood, no one could tell if it was from a wound of his own or from the comrades falling around him. It was disturbing when a shaky voice called out his name, and he didn't move, he didn't look like he was breathing. Your mind began to swim in hysteria again before you opened your eyes and took a breath. You were safe in the building, he was safe in the building.. He was alive. You honestly struggled to remember how Levi had found the both of you as quickly as he did, but.. Thank God for that little man. A sharp exhale pushed through your lips as you turned around and opened the door quietly, catching sight of Levi sitting on a stool next to a steel bathtub. Erwin still being unconscious, Levi took it upon himself to take care of the commander.Attack on Titan: Erwin x reader x Levi Pt.13 months ago in Short Stories More Like This

Suddenly, Fili ran up to the house.

Every one grabbed their weapons and followed Fili to the trolls.

Then a writer is a mighty man indeed
He is a master of words
And poetry is his creed
His simple phrases
Placed in simple rhyme
Twist thoughts and emotions
Like a child with twine
He can make you feel
Like the rough edges
Of a dragons bone
He can make you smell
Without a single breath
The cold rotting scent
Of a thing we call death
He can make you hear
A foreign sound
Like a loud-mouthed bard
In a renaissance town
It is with his words
He commits inception
With honest thoughts
And cruel deception
But before you know it
You will agree
With whatever he writes
Don't you see?
For the day is coming
When you'll find
That all your thoughts
Are from his mind
So heed this advice
Lest ye future grieve
The greatest lies
Are the ones you want to believe

You had been tossing and turning all night after what Levi and Eren had proclaimed to you earlier on that very same evening. Your lips stung with a feeling you had never felt before. Grazing slim fingers over your lips as you continued to make a run for it, you recalled the clear visions both Levi and Eren kissing you passionately and intimately. You had woken up with a start after struggling to fall asleep that night. This only caused you to oversleep and waking up close to midday. You had found a note slid under your door which read the following:
"Good morning, ______.

Unlocking my thoughts from their socket
Invisible paintbrushes come to my hands

Clouds tower over and make me believe
In dreaming the day through my eyes
Maniacally knowing what life can concieve
Reclusive irrelevance cries
But how crazy is it to think for yourself?
And jump from the moon to the sun?
Write a new book to place on life's shelf
And read one in spite of the gun
Now go through the rabbit hole! No time to waste!
Your wonderland needs to be found!
Reflections will come as you strive for a taste
Of colors, of thoughts, and of sound
So embrace the madness for all that it is
And never lose sight of your goal
Just try not to fail insanity's quiz

Becoming a Hero the Hard Way:
Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III as a Christ Figure
(This is an essay I wrote for school in March 2011)
The Christ metaphor has been a poignant part of western literary tradition for millennia. By reinterpreting the Christ story, a piece of literature can bring a new relevance to the ancient story and reveal new ideas within its meaning and mechanics. This is not a practice limited to any one genre, and can be found places where you'd least expect it to be. A great example would be the children's book How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell. By focusing on human dynamics in a fresh Christ metaphor, Cowell calls attention to aggression and intolerance present in our own society and attempts to realign our perception of heroism with peaceful communications and common sense. She does this by employing several common Biblical motifs in her plotline, carefully characterizing her protagonist, and developing a setting that satirizes the modern world.&

The elves of Doriath knew that a battle with the sons of Feanor was possible. Elwing's father, King Dior refused to relinquish the silmaril he had inherited from his parents. You admitted to yourself that you had, unconditionally an irrevocably, fallen in love with the two men. Despite the original plan being to make Levi jealous had worked nonetheless, you felt as though you were making Eren jealous at the same time. His attitude towards you was too close for comfort sometimes, well maybe not that, more so realistic. Eren's actions towards you did not feel fake or forced. It was genuine and you were confused, lost and above all, you were frustrated.

You made a fool out of me, not to mention you got yourself disqualified!" Midas tried to mute out the rest. He remembered why he stumbled. While the eye-patched man told him to back step, something caught his attention: A flash of purple armor and lights, then he was on the floor, the laughing and booing crowed above him. He came back to reality with a lingering thought. there was no doubt: That was Noisy Boy.

A wondrous melody,
Wiping away dust that gathered,
A tsunami of composition,

Emotions by music evoked.
The breath of an artist
Reaching an end,
The sway of notes
Coming to a bend,
The echoes no longer strong,
