- A Glatzan bald cap - A self-sculpted silicone facial prosthetic covering my brow, nose/cheeks, and upper lip. - A custom set of front teeth I sculpted and then cast out of dental acrylic. - A self-sculpted silicone chin/lower lip prosthetic. - The coloring was mostly done with alcohol-activated Skin Illustrator palettes, but I used cream makeup for around the eyes.
This is my prosthetic work for my Splicer costume, before adding all the extra blood spatter and dirt. Since the camera flash in the club-lighting didn't do me any favours (see: [link]) I wanted to show what it actually looked like a little better.
Aside from a small test-run the previous night, this was my first time using Gelatine, and I think it turned out really well. got a lot of "that's disgusting!" reactions at the party, which is exactly what I was going for!
So one of my girlfriends and I got bored during the day and while we grew up watching CATS and while that's what got me into makeup in the first place, we decided to make our jellicle selves more apparent.
She was a little rockabilly, I was..a little..well Hair Metal. Go figure ;]
