Anne was Queen of England from 1533 to 1536 as the second wife of Henry VIII of England. Henry's marriage to Anne, and her subsequent execution, made her a key figure in the political and religious upheaval that was the start of the English Reformation.

This one was roughly inspired by some lovely Balinese art, but with a Midwestern twist. Her face features rolling cropland under a clear blue sky, and her headdress is made out of maize leaves and blue/red corn. The gem in the middle of her forehead is glas, with marbled blue, green, and gold. =D

This mask is for sale for $250! You can find it here- [link]

Completed 10/23/12

I'm sorry it took me a while to upload this... I haven't been able to get a very good picture of it. The orange I used isn't very compatible with other colors for the background, haha.

So I made this after hiking a bit here in Japan. Fall is very popular; Japanese people love the changing of the leaves. I saw several leaf skeletons, and I just thought they were so beautiful. When I made this one, I just copied the general leaf structure, and then traced string to make the interior spaces more random.

This leaf is actually a bit large, about 10" x 9" (~ 25 x 23 cm). Took around 13 hours to make.

Here is a little video of me talking about it:

A pretty small origami crane I made... (the tiniest one I was able to craft)
As you can see, it's compared to a 1 euro cent coin :D
