This is my version of a Death Star Pumpkin. Standing about 1 1/2 foot tall, I grabbed this pumpkin from our local yearly Pumpkin Patch last night and started cleaning and carving just after 9 this morning. Finished I believe 9:30 this evening. I had three short 10 minute breaks. I used Brite Lite Pegs for some added pop. I have seen many of them online and felt it was time to make one for myself. So, with a warm heart, sore bottom and worn out arms and hands, I'd like to wish you all a very Happy Halloween 2012. ^_^
Arrr mateys! It be th' time o' year fer me late piratical pumkin! One o' these years I be plannin' carve up sumthin' for International Talk Like a Pirate Day proper, but this be not the year!
Since me treasure chest be gettin' low on yer pirate patterns, I had to be makin' do with th' scurvy Cap'n Jack Sparrow. Th' catch be from off the port o' Zombie Pumpkins: [link] This here salty pumkin be makin' him look a migh' bit strange, an' I couldn't decide if he should be walking the plank! But we best be startin' off th' pumkin season right, so I threw him out onto th' poop deck instead o' the brig!
