... this bastard here is my rendition of Bane for the DCO game... I did this one before I got the gig to work on Arkham Asylum, so this was a nice warm-up.... I was looking at what Kelly Jones had originally done with Bane back in the 90's, and I wanted to do a bit of that with Bane's anatomy and proportions.... for the mask though, I was more inspired with what they had done on 'Batman the animated series' ...that was the first time I realized that Bane's supposed to be wearing a Mexican wrestler mask... I NEVER knew that 'cause I didn't get that AT ALL from the original version... so this one is more of my 'homage' to the Bane from the cartoon!
I think the finished version didn't have his mouth exposed... kinda wish it had... oh well... I got to show his mouth on Arkham Asylum!!!
If you've played Batman: Arkham Asylum and taken some time to look over the piles of paperwork around the place in the game, then this'll look familiar to you.
This is prop paperwork for my Arkham Asylum cosplay, and this file in particular is for Edward Nigma, aka The Riddler.
