Bart and Lisa are arguing, after Bart comments that her Halloween story is not scary. Then, in the middle of the fighting, Lisa accidentally drops the flashlight, which breaks and spills out a pair of batteries. They stop and look at it, before looking at each other and laughing, while the cast and crew laugh with them in the background.
LISA: (putting the batteries back in) "Heh-heh, sorry 'bout that."
Later...
HOMER: (explaining about the haunted house) "It's only natural there be SOME things wrong with an old house like this. It's a upper-trixer!" (Silence)

Him this and him that, that's all there was to hear anymore! If it wasn't a certain someone yelling at her for being upset, it was yelling about how he said something stupid and going, "Can you believe it?" and doing that stupid little giggle she had. It drove me crazy sometimes. On top of everything that was going on, it seemed ridiculous to worry about something so small. Maybe it was more the idea of her being so caught up in her own depression and self-pity, she couldn't focus on important things or normal family things, yet always find time to yell about him yelling.
