"Spencer, I need to talk to you in my office."
Spencer had been expecting something like this for a while. He knew his performance was slipping, he knew that he looked like hell, he knew that everyone knew something was up, and finally, he knew that Hotch would ask.
"Spencer, I need to know what's going on with you." It wasn't a question, it was an order. Reid stood awkwardly near Hotch's desk, he swallowed.
"Hotch, its really none of your business, unless it affects my performance."
"It has, it does, and I'm asking you now tell me."
Then Hotch touched Reid on the shoulder, "Tell me. You need to tell s

Basis: Instead of having joined earlier, Prentiss was the one who was there from the start, and now, Reid is the new replacement for Elle Greenaway. Can he learn to fit in, especially since he is joining after spending years in social solitude?
Fitting In CM Slash MxR-HxR 1Spencer could barely resist squirming as he watched the man that was going to be his new boss read over his file with critical, piercing eyes. He hated the idea that most of his life was written there, in black and white for the man to read. He felt like his life had become nothing more than words on a page; he was nothing more than some pathetic story for someone to read.Fitting In CM Slash MxR-HxR 15 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
When the man looked up, he seemed to instantly take note of the others discomfort, for he gave a hint of a smile and shut the file with a snap. It didn't comfort Reid like the man had hoped. Rather, it made Reids discomfort grow, knowing he was completely and utterly transparent to the man before him. His emotions were laid out on his face just as clearly as the words in his file.
"Spencer Reid, it's nice to meet you." The man murmured, standing up calmly. He had a fatherly feel to him, and it let Reid relax, only a hint. "I'm Jason Gideon. It's great to have you on the team." The man held out a hand to shake, and Re

Spencer Reid has a secret. No one knew about it, and he hoped to keep it that way. He hoped. That all changed in about a half an hour.
It was a normal day at the Behavioral Analysis Unit in Quantico, Virginia. All of the agents were doing something different, whether it is talking to each other, doing paperwork, or just off in their own world. Whatever the case is, things were going to change drastically for two of these agents by the end of the day. Agent Prentiss was having a conversation with Agent Rossi in the bullpen, Agent Morgan was off with their technical analyst Penelope Garcia in her office, and that left Agent Reid sitting at his desk thinking. He was known as a genius to the team, with an IQ of 187, an eidetic memory, and he could read 20,000 words a minute, but he had a major secret, a secret he had never shared

Dr. Spencer Reid needed to get home. It wasn't that he was drunk, but he didn't usually drink and tonight he did. At the best of times Reid and co-ordination didn't belong in the same sentence, unless there was an "un" involved. If possible Reid seemed worse around Morgan, something which only Penelope Garcia had noticed.
Morgan glanced over at the slightly buzzed Reid looking so adorable in tight, on anyone else, too tight, jeans and fitted Tee, and offered to take him home. Penelope had hoped those jeans would do the trick. Derrick Morgan caught himself staring at Reid, flashed a brilliant smile at Reid, and opened the door for Reid. (Yes, they drive those black SUVs to parties.) Reid couldn't believe his luck. He fumbled with his seat belt all semblance of obedience had left his hands. He nearly fainted as

The words continued to haunt him as he lay in bed that night. He would close his eyes and see his face towering over him, as if he was sitting on top of him again. He’d open them, the words would echo in his head. Something was wrong with him, thinking about Foyet the entire time. It wasn’t even close to the anniversary of her death, and that was the worst part. It was for no apparent reason right then—just late night thoughts about some of his old cases.
Aaron lay sprawled on the bed and jerked slightly when hearing the door knock. Sitting up, he looked at the clock and grimaced. ‘1:21 AM,’ he thought. ‘Who the hell decided to come at my door this late?’ He crawled out of bed and slowly made his way to the door in an effort to look awake. The door knocked again, and he opened in the middle of it.
Spencer stood there, hand up as if to knock once more. He sheepishly pu

"Hello?" He asked groggily into the phone as the files slid off of his chest.
"Spence, you have to get out of there right now! We're sending help to your place right now, but you have to get out!"
"JJ, what's wrong?" Spencer asked, blinking the sleep out of his eyes.
"Spencer, the Dark Room Killer is coming after our team; he almost shot Emily! Get out!"
JJ's words took a moment to sink in, but once they did Dr. Reid's adrenaline surged through his veins and he snapped his cell phone shut, slipping it into his pocket as he jumped out of bed. He quickly ran his fingers through his hair and padded into the kitchen.
As soon as he walked through the door he heard a terrifying sound; a blade sliding out of a sheath. Suddenly his chest tightened and he was frozen with fear.
"Nice to see you again," The Dark Room Killer murmured, voice husky an

When Spencer Reid first came in this morning, the first thing Hotch though of was his new haircut. It reminded him of those boy bands he see's teenage girls go crazy for. But now, he could see more of Reid's neck.

Suddenly, Hotch ran into something hard, which turned out to be a parking meter. Ignoring the pain, he tried to compose himself and get rid of the thoughts of his young lover.
Hotch was looking through papers from the social networking case and was stirring coffe he brought with him. Then he saw Reid passé by his office and smiles at him. Reid smiles back and Hotch's mind wanders to other times Reid smiled.
Reid smiling. Reid moaning. Reid screaming out his name
"Hotch, what are you doing?!"
Hotch snapped out of his daydream and stared at Rossi who cried out. He then looked at his cup of coffee, which was spilling from his excessive stirring. He swore

Dr. Spencer Reid looked around the room as he flicked the light on. He figured that he should be happy, he was in the state of Alaska, one of the most beautiful places on earth, and yet the young agent found himself worrying. Yes, he was on a case and that was the only reason he was even there in the small lodge in Alaska, but the worry and weight of the pressure they were all under was getting to him. Not to mention the sense of fear that was coming from each citizen was overwhelming. But what made Reid even more upset, even more confused was why would Morgan not want to room with him, weren't they friends? Was it something he said? Something he did? Did he smell? As Spencer put his duffle bag down on the bed a sigh passed over his lips. It was something that he knew would continue to bother him even if it meant not sleeping.
He got into his pajamas, just a t-shirt and flannel pants, bef

"Alright. Prentiss, you and Rossi search the basement, and I'll take the second floor."
"I'm coming with you Hotch," Derek said, already heading for the stairs.
"I'll stay on this floor," Spencer whispered, shaking hands clasping his gun and flashlight tightly. Hotch nodded and followed Derek up the stairs.
"Clear!" Spencer heard Emily's voice from the basement.
"Clear!" He then heard Hotch's voice from upstairs. Spencer took a deep breath and continued walking through the house. The dusty floorboards creaked with every step, and, without warning, a large patch of floor broke, sending Dr. Reid flying through the floor and into a hidden section of the basement. Spencer yelped and felt a split second of excruciating pain, then nothing.
When he woke, he was bound to a chair, his mouth was duct-taped shut, his gun was halfway across the room, and he could fe

I kept my eyes on Hotch as JJ called us in the conference room to discuss the next case. He'd been acting a little strange lately, I would know. Not only for I had my vampire senses to tell me everything, also because I had strong feelings for the man, the man that was my boss. I didn't like it much, it could never work out because of so many things, but.. god, that man made me feel almost alive. Something I didn't feel very often being dead and all.
Of course, my team didn't know that, they'd sensed the change in me after the case that made me like this, but I kept telling them they didn't need to worry and they couldn't tell what it was, and it wasn't like I was unhealthy are something so now, a year later, they just let it pass.
I had my eyes on the unsub, afraid, but I held my gun with my hands tightly, not letting them shake. As he approached me, I couldn't see another option than to fire it. So I did, I fired, the bullet hit him in his chest, and he, he didn't even so much as b
